NHTSA Owner Complaint Log
This page lists owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA for the 2006 Chrysler 300. Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA and do not by themselves prove a defect or defect rate.
The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving at undisclosed speeds, the vehicle shut off unexpectedly. The contact stated that the vehicle sputtered and stalled after refueling. There was an abnormal rumbling sound coming from the vehicle. The contact waited for 30 minutes to restart the vehicle. The accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to respond as needed. While driving and making a turn, the vehicle stalled. There were unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V002000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The local dealer was contacted and informed the contact that the vehicle could not be repaired. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was unknown.
Completed x53 extended warranty a year prior at dealership, car still stalls only after putting fuel even though always filling to 3/4-7/8 of tank. Had my children with me Car stalled again today at middle of busy street when about to make a left turn after i filled to 3/4 of a tank. Had dodge dealer in Manteca, CA diagnose after first stall half a year prior and they would not replace faulty new tank. Still had to pay diagnostic fee saying fuel liquid was getting into vapor lines and flooding engine and that new tank is not the issue even though it is allowing fuel liquid to pass through vent valve which caused saturation of vapor canister and purge solenoid and engine stalling. Car only stalls when pumping gas 3/4 tank or above
I have had issues with fueling the vehicle as when I fuel it I am only able to get a few cents in at a time before the gas pump clicks off or gas starts coming out of the fuel filler neck itself. At most I have been able to fill up my tank halfway but when I try to fill it a few cents worth of gas above halfway, I have engine stalling issues. To try to solve this issue I replaced all the external fuel vapor parts (charcoal cannister, EGR valve, PCV valve, purge solenoid, gas cap, and leak detection pump). The issue is clearly a problem with the internal components of the fuel tank itself. Chrysler has a X53 lifetime warranty for my type of vehicle but only for 19 gallon fuel tanks and my car has an 18 gallon tank. However, NHTSA investigation PE13-016 has shown that the defect (a swollen vent valve) affects both sizes of tanks. Chrysler said that the X53 lifetime warranty on the defective tank is VIN specific and would not cover my vehicle because it has a 18 gallon tank. Now my vehicle dashboard is saying that the gas cap is leaking but the gas cap was just replaced thus this further points to a pressure issue within the tank. Chrysler dealerships will not help me and contacting FCA resulted in them just telling me to contact a dealer to check if the warranty is available for me.
The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300C. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 15V313000 (AIR BAGS) and 16V352000 (AIR BAGS); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
After Fueling on several occasions the vehicle just abruptly stalls out and it's very dangerous I notice that there is recalls on other 2006 Chrysler but mine isn't on there but I am very concerned about this as it could cause me to get in a accident
car stalled after filling gas tank. I was driving through an intersection and had to stop for oncoming traffic, when the car stalled and would not immediately restart, it eventually did start after several panic moments of being stuck in the intersection while the light was changing to let opposite traffic proceed. It stalled 2 more times on the way home. Both times I was slowing the car down when this occurred. I have been fearful of driving this car again since this happened. I heard there was a recall from Chrysler for lifetime replacement of gas tank due to a possible control valve shutoff float failure. My vehicle has never had the gas tank or float replaced, but it does not show up for a recall when I enter VIN. What should I do?
There a problem with car stalling and dying because of power being lost to tcm because of tipm. Dealer had my car for 7 weeks and $1900 changing tcm and problems still exist. Didn't even make 10 miles from dealership. Very dangerous
gasket around fuel pump failed allowing gas to pool on top of fuel tank under the back seat on passenger side . this resulted in a strong "gas/fuel" smell from fuel vapors colecting inside the car and the obvious risk of ignition/explosion and negative health effects of breathing said fumes .the vehicle has not been inspected yet because we are afraid to start the vehicle let alone drive it to the shop . We are making araingements to have it towed to the repair shop . we have not had any warning lights . Mechanic said it was a common problem with seal failure around fuel pump . the vehicle has 127,000 miles
Car will buck/jerk at higher speeds, will also die at low speeds or idle, will fall on its face when trying full throttle, the oil light, check engine light, Limp mode will flash sometimes traction control, esp will flash most the time the 2 lights stay on Problem has been confirmed by 2 dealers. Puts my saftry at risk because engine will js die at 20mph i lose brakes and steering. Problem first appeared about the beginning of this year when my camshaft went out but wasn't showing a code for a month and a half then gave me a code since then ive had this problem Vehicle has not been inspected
2006 Chrysler 300 Touring 3.5L V6 engine. Car has intermittent stall at slow speeds or at complete stop. Sometimes feels like it stumbles, other times it dies suddenly and unable to tell the engine shut down. I have to put car in park and completely switch the ignition fully off and turn back on to start position. When it stalls while rolling, I have to brake and bring car to full stop, with no power steering, and go through the same start procedure. No trouble codes are generated, and no check engine light indicator illuminated. Car usually starts right up, but sometimes I have to keep cranking starter, stumbles to catch as if starving for fuel. A/C was on first two times but also happens with A/C off. Research online reveals an open recall for the fuel tank on the 300C model with a 5.7L or 6.4L engine. Problems described on the 300C model are nearly identical to what my 300 Touring is experiencing. PCM replacement does not correct problem. Some noticed it happening only with a full tank. Stopgap measure is to only fill no more than 3/4 tank. I am currently testing this idea. The safety issue is significant and twofold; three times I have had one other adult and two children in the car. While stalled at a major intersection traffic signal trying to restart the engine, other vehicles approached from the rear at 50-55 MPH. A rear end collision with children in the back seat would likely be fatal. Secondly, during a stall event while the car is moving, it is extremely difficult to steer the vehicle to a safe place, and braking takes significant pedal pressure once power assist bleeds off. This is a serious concern and obvious collision hazard, as I may not be able to stop or steer to a safe location or avoid a hazard. I had the car at the dealer for over three weeks in July 2024 and they were unable to duplicate the issue. Their answer was to drive car until it happens more frequently. This is unacceptable. No other solution or repair was provided.
The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 MPH, the vehicle started losing motive power. The contact stated there was smoke coming from under the hood. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact pulled over and observed that the temperature gauge indicated that the engine was HOT. The contact turned the vehicle off and waited for about 30 minutes and the vehicle restarted after several attempts. The contact had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed; however, the cause of the failure was not yet determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 133,000.
There is a fuel leak coming from the rear right side near the right rear wheel. Fuel leaks when the tank is full.
While I was driving the car, the car stalled on me at a stop light, its a safety risk and could caused an accident at anytime, yes its available for inspection. Yes the problem has been reported and inspected by auto shop and dealership. No warning lights it just randomly happened while driving, while I was driving the check engine light popped up then disappeared and 2mintues later my car power was reduced and car shutoff at stoplight.
The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300C. The contact stated that the fuel tank was previously replaced under an unknown extended warranty coverage; however, after the repair, the vehicle experienced a failure. The contact stated that after refueling the vehicle and driving at slow speeds, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that the failure recurred several times while driving and coming to a complete stop. The vehicle was towed each time the failure occurred. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled in the middle of the road during the last failure. The contact was able to push the vehicle to the side of the road with assistance. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and test-driven, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 214,624.
While driving at speed limit car dash lights all light up and car stops running. You loose steering, brakes all electrical lights. Car may restart and power restored and if not must stop car if possible to restart. Happens randomly! This is a continued problem. Has happened more than 10 times and seems to be having this problem more and more often. No one knows how to fix problem.
Once fueled, the engine will consistently stall from start to cruising speed, and has even shut off while driving. There was an issue with Chrysler fuel tanks evap valve sticking open, which causes this fault, however I have not received any assistance from Chrysler or any authorized dealer.
My Fuel Tank is stuck in open position, it is making my car stall, sputter, and cut off. When my gas is very low car doesn't cut off and runs fine, but when I fill car up it stalls and cuts off, this is very dangerous it cuts off at red lights, stop signs, slow traffic, I've seen this is a Warranty/Recall problem with the faulty fuel tanks, with stuck open fuel shutoff valve. My car is running at max fuel because of this problem. It's been like this since I bought car 2 months ago. I need this fixed immediately. And all parts on my car are brand new this Faulty fuel tank is the Culprit
The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300C. The contact stated that while driving at slow speeds during traffic congestion, the vehicle inadvertently lost motive power and stalled. Upon restarting the vehicle, the vehicle hesitated but seemed to return to normal functionality. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 200,000.
The car will just shut off while driving or at rest. My safety and other people on the road is unsafe in the vehicle because when it shuts off in the middle of the road the steering wheel is also not working. The car has been to multiple shops with each shop guessing what could be the problem and fixing what they think may be wrong and after 2,000 dollars the car is still stalling out while being drove. No lights or diagnostic test come up with anything that could cause the problem
While driving my Chrysler when I stop at a red light or stop sign the car will simply stall out and die so I put it back in park and recrank it and sometimes it'll die immediately after that and sometimes it'll wait till the next red light or until I'm making next stop. And when the car is in park it'll stall out I'll simply have to crank it right back up sometimes it'll stall out immediately after that and sometimes it'll run for a minute or two and then stall out. But as long as I got my gas my foot on the gas while I'm breaking at the same time it won't die
Yesterday I experienced an SUA incident and nearly lost my life. I was entering a freeway and began to accelerate my car. Suddenly I felt as if the gears kicked and the car began to accelerate on its own to max revolutions. I pressed down on the brakes to see if it would stop and there was heavy resistance. I took my foot on the break and the car began to accelerate and rev completely on its own and the engine felt as if it was going to explode. I luckily was able to jam my foot on the break and pull over to the emergency lane and eventually come to a full stop. From there I put the car in park and removed my foot from the break pedal. Again the car began to jump to full revs with the engine screaming. I turned the car off and on several times and this continued to happen. After waiting one hour I was able to start the car and drive 20 mph back to my home and I will have it towed to a repair shop shortly. If I panicked or was not strong enough to press down on the brake pedal, the car would have accelerated to full speed and I certainly would have died and likely other people would have too.
Car traction light pops on and the engine raves up high. I turned it off and pump brakes but it continues. When I backup traction pops on. I got coils and brackets put on prior to it doing this. If I lock the car door a lot of times I can't get in. I've called tow truck so many times. Even after replacing battery. Once it's opened with the jimmy and I crank it up. The key remote will work. When I try remote a few hours later it won't work. I don't leave important items in the car due to someone coming in my lot and rummaging through it.
Fuel leaking through gas gasket under rear passenger seat near electrical components. Gas Fumes fill vehicle cabin when fuel tank is full and could be ignited by a small spark. No warnings of issue on dashboard. EXTREME DANGER!
The first time I was on the highway and then engine just stalled out on me during rush hour traffic is was almost rear-end by a simi truck I got off the highway and get the car started and then when I was at a stop sign and I started to make my left hand turn i was about half way into my turn and it sallied out again with traffic coming from both directions and it didn't want to start thank god that the oncoming car tired off and then other was able to slow down enough to go around me as I am scared to death that I was going to be hit due to the car stalled out and left me sitting in the middle of the road our car has left me twice now at the same intersection as I was making my turn these are not the only times that it's stalled out on us I am not comfortable driving our car as with it stalling out 3 time's in a 2 day time that put my life and others in danger something needs to be done about this issue before someone gets killed due to the sudden stalling we live out in a rural area with no other transportation so we need our car and depend on it and can't afford to get a new car this is a VERY SERIOUS ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO GET ADDRESSED ASAP
Vehicle stalls when idling or coming to a stop, mainly at low RPM. No codes are thrown. Gas tank has been replaced and fuel pump is new, still stalls. There are many reports on the Chrysler 300 Forum regarding the same situation. Many people have thrown good money after bad towards parts and still there's issues. I have my car at the Moss Bros Dealership in Riverside Ca. now for 5 days to try and repair this Safety Issue! 3/28/23. Car has stalled approximately 20 times, 4 times which were on the freeway. The car will start up and run fine for several days and then it acts up. Could be a number of things, but with no codes, pretty hard to diagnose the stalling issue.
Everytime I fill the gas tank the car stalls out several times and then stalls when deceleration and turning.
Shifter into park have to tap it all the way to the left after car is off to remove key from ignition or car stays on.
Car stalls out when driving. Almost was rear-ended, broadside, front ended and sideswiped too many times to note! Have new gas tank per recall. Still stalls. Dealership has witnessed stall but can't locate problem and charges me 150.00 for useless diagnostic test and still not able to find stalling problem. Dealership doesn't care. Laughed at me. Had it in shop several times. Nothing. I'm disabled and on fixed income. Dealership attempts to have me purchase new vehicle. I can't afford one! Stalls out when turning, stopped and while maintaining consistent speed. Can't fill up gas tank or stalling is worse. Can't let tank run under 1/4 full or stalling. I'm barely able to drive anywhere due to fear of stalling and getting hit. Chrysler seems to not care. I told service manager that if I or someone else is hurt or killed its their fault for not fixing or caring about owners of this car. Death and injuries are going to happen cuz this is so dangerous and horror filled! I don't know what else to do. My beautiful 300 is not safe. I am basically carless. This has been going on for almost 4 years with no resolution or kindness. I almost was hit by a gravel truck when attempting to push car out of road! IM DISABLED!!! I can't go anywhere without being afraid it will stall at anytime for no reason. Dealership has checked repeatedly and diagnosis tests and even left car at dealership for days and still no resolution. They really don't care. I once loved Chrysler and now I am full of fear and anger that Chrysler doesn't care. There is numerous complaints about the same problem. Dealership did suggest I have a full tune up at several hundreds dollars! HA! Said a tune up will not fix it and nothing showed on diagnosis a need for tune up. Car runs beautiful when not stalling! My heart is broken. What's the point of charging me 150.00 for nothing? Then laugh when car stalls as I leave dealership. Guess that's how poor people are treated.
On 11/15/2022, the consumer had a scheduled service appointment at Hendrick Chrysler motor vehicle dealership located at 1628 Montgomery Hwy, Hoover, Alabama, regarding stop drive recall ZD1, S43, and R25. The consumer was directed to sign insurance related paperwork to have the recall service performed. The consumer explained that the service was related to a recall and would not sign any insurance related paperwork. The consumer was advised by service personnel that the recall service would be performed and the motor vehicle was left with the service department to have the recall service performed. Shortly thereafter, the consumer was advised via telephone call that the recall service would not be performed. The consumer does not believe that any insurance paperwork is applicable to have recall service performed. Because the motor vehicle dealership and/or the motor vehicle manufacturer have been unwilling to provide service regarding the stop drive recall(s), the consumer is requesting guidance from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for resolution.
i’ve been reading about the issues regarding the lights exterior/interior-so many customer complaints about how over the past few decades problems with the interior (dash) and exterior lights blinking, dimming & “ completely going out” while of course driving-how hasn’t this major issue been addressed & recalled, this is a VERY DANGEROUS & SERIOUS PROBLEM, I am currently experiencing this while on the road at night-what can be done? Our safety is at risk!!
The car is prone to intermittent stalling, in which the engine cuts out without warning or signs of stumbling. Often it happens at idle or when initially accelerating from idle, but has also happened several times at speed, up to 40 mph, with accompanying loss of power steering. Sometimes the engine kicks back on after a momentary loss of RPMs, if at speed, but other times it does not. I have brought it to two Chrysler dealerships and three independent mechanics in an effort to find the problem, with various parts being replaced, including the X53 extended warranty for the 19 gallon fuel tank, but the problem persists without successful diagnosis. Only one of the independent mechanics was reportedly able to replicate the condition. Usually, the check engine light, electronic throttle control light, oil light, traction control, and electronic stability lights turn on during a stall, and sometimes the check engine light stays on. The car may several trips without a stall and then stall multiple times in one trip. It usually does not generate a code, but sometimes produces P0700 and U0100 codes. The car always starts again following a complete stall. These symptoms appear fairly widespread in 2006 Chrysler 300 vehicles, based on car owner forums. The level of fuel in the tank does not appear related.
The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300C. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 40 MPH, the RPM decreased, and the vehicle went into Limp Mode with the accelerator pedal depressed. The contact stated that the vehicle then stalled. Additionally, the contact stated that the failure recurred after refueling the vehicle. The contact was able to restart the vehicle however while accelerating, the vehicle went into Limp Mode. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer was notified of the failure; however, the contact was awaiting a callback. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 106,000.
The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300C. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the front passenger side air bag would need to be replaced. The contact informed the local dealer of the failure and she was then made aware of a previous recall repair that was completed for the passenger side air bag and the dealer informed her that the diagnosis and repairs would be her responsibility. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 139,000.
The car engine just stops when in idle or while driving . I have almost been rear ended several times on the highway and on the city streets. the engine just stops running and the car shuts down. The car had a recall for the tank and fuel o ring which was suppose to fix the problem but it did not brought it to the dealer again had it replaced again problem still existed . Went back to the dealer they said they could not duplicate it then i drove it it stopped and i turned around and brought it back then they duplicated it . I have been replacing parts that have nothing to do with the stalling problem. it is currently in the dealer as we speak. this problem started when i had 64000 miles on it then it progressively got worse
Car will shut off randomly after filling my tank up I've only had this vehicle for a few months I wasn't aware of this was going on a road trip with my kids I filled my tank up got on the highway was driving on middle lane normal driving an with out warning my cars dash lights come on an car shuts of instantly pulled over turned the key to off position an the car start right away
Car shuts off while in motion like it’s not getting fuel or like I shut it off has new fuel pumps and everything I can check seems to be ok can cause an accident due to happening in traffic on major highways and whenever it chooses this has happened on multiple occasions including holiday weekend with a lot of traffic almost causing accidents has occurred on exit ramps, highways, red lights, parking lots, back roads, everywhere the date listed is one of the many when it has occurred.
Gas puddles inside under rear seat causing strong smell of gas in cabin. Replaced oring gasket however that was not the problem and did not fix the issue. Still have not confirmed where the leak is coming from....it could be the plastic line, plastic nipple that the line connects too, or the plastic housing fuel transfer pump. Still unsure where it's leaking lots of gas.
My vehicle has experienced ecm/ throttle body issues, lights flickering hard to drive vehicle at night because the lights aren't working properly. Transmission and motor problems. Why isn't the electrical issues on recall? I've been on several forums with hundreds of electrical issue complaints. This is not fair
My Chrysler 2006 300 C smells of heavy oder of fuel inside occupant seating area. upon investigation, found the fuel pump situated behind driver, under back seat, and the modulator is situated behind passenger seat. both fuel and assembly are exposed to occupants, leaking and accumulating pools of fuel. there is no safety barrier between the fuel and occupants! this is a critical DESIGN FAILURE for occupant safety!!! The modulator is made of plastic and exposed to caustic chemicals (fuel) which causes premature corrosive damage exposing all occupants of vehicle to multiple health risks including DEATH!! This vehicle needs to be recalled!!! and not only fix the issue with leaking fuel, the vehicle needs a fire proof barrier between the fuel system and the occupants.
When filling the gas tank to completely full, the engine will die without any warning. Does not happen when the tank is partially filled. Several times after completely filing gas tank, a couple hundred yards from gas station, car suddenly dies. Starts right up again and after driving a few more yards it dies again. It died on me about 5 times in a row. Could be deadly when pulling out into traffic.
Vehicle stalls after refueling. Used to be an annoyance, now dangerous. Driven 78000 miles like this. Heard about and have Netscape recall and Chrysler lifetime guarantee to replace known problem. It includes canister, valve, gas cap etc but they and Chrysler rep say they know nothing about it even though I gave them your and their own letter to us.
Just turned 200k miles well maintained car. #7 lifter stuck with a bang. Eng light came on with codes. This is a known issue for this build. Car can be turned over to manufacture for investigational and safety to see their engineering from 2006 mds systems. Longevity research
I recently purchased my Chrysler 300C because it had great reviews and was even on top lists of vehicles for this year. Soon after purchasing, I started encountering the dreaded “300 stall”. With two small children in the vehicle, it has died at more red lights than I can count. Not to mention while driving down the highway, trying to pull out of my driveway, or really just various other occasions. In a matter of a little over a month, I have almost been rear ended at least a handful of times. Considering how many people I have discovered has this same issue, there should be some sort of manufacturer solution or at least a public warning not to purchase this vehicle. I bought the vehicle thinking I was getting a top rated safe vehicle for my family and this is not what I am experiencing.
My Car broke down in a parking lot (drove there completely fine and the heat gauge didn't read the car was overheating). I got my car towed to bryants automotive in Redding CA. The cars upper radiator hose fell off causing my engine to overheat. 0 check engine light, 0 codes shown. I was quoted 10k, and I am basically screwed because I dont have that kind of money. Very disappointing and I would like an investigation into this issue.
I here to report what seems to be an on-going issue with the older model Chrysler 300's. I have an 2006 and just recently started smelling gas fumes or an gas odor inside my car. I had a mechanic look at the problem. He assumes it was a cracked or damaged seal. He took the backseat out and looked. The ring was intact but the fuel filter had a small crack in it. We fixed it and thought the problem was over. He said the car would have a heavy fuel smell for a couple of days but would go away once the car was aired out. 3 DAYS go by and though the fumes remained. Now,i see that gas isactually leaking from the underside of the rear passenger side. And the smell is still there. I am taking the car to another repair shop to do a more through exam of the car. Leaking gas should be the least of my problems.
EVERY TIME I FILL MY CAR WITH GAS I GET A GAS SMELL INSIDE MY CAR AND GARAGE FOR THE NEXT FEW DAY. I CALL ABOUT A RECALL FOR MY CAR AND WAS TOLD THAT MY CAR WAS TOO OLD TO BE SERVICED AT THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I BOUGHT IT.
FUEL VAPOR WAS LEAKING INTO OUR CAR THROUGH AIR VENTS AND FROM FUEL PUMP ITSELF. IT CAUSED THE CAR TO FAIL AND NOT START. HAD TO REPLACE FUEL PUMP, YET SAME THING KEEPS HAPPENING. NOW GASOLINE LEAKS FROM THE OUTSIDE UNDERNEATH THE CAR (WHEN DRIVING, OR PARKED BUT WITH CAR TURNED OVER) WHERE THE FUEL PUMP IS NON STOP.
BACK IN FEB.2014 YOU CLOSED AN INVESTIGATION ON THE 2006 CHRYSLER 300C SAYING IT WAS A GAS TANK CAUSING THE ENGINE TO STALL BECAUSE CHRYSLER SAID THEY WOULD REPLACE THE GAS TANKS. IF YOU WOULD HAVE DONE YOUR JOB RIGHT. YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN THERE WAS MORE THEN GAS TANK PROBLEMS. THERE ARE HUNDRED'S OF US STILL HAVING STALL PROBLEMS. THE DEALERSHIPS DON'T HOW TO FIX THESE VEHICLES. AND CHRYSLER ACTS LIKE THERE'S NO PROBLEM. GO TO WWW.CARCOMPLAINTS.COM. THERE ARE 32 COMPLAINTS JUST ON THEIR SITE. THERE'S ALL KIND OF PEOPLE IN CHRYSLER FORUMS THAT DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE BEEN IN ACCIDENTS BECAUSE OF THEIR ENGINES STALLING WHAT DO PEOPLE HAVE TO DIE BEFORE YOU GUYS DO YOUR JOB. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT CHRYSLER NEEDS TO TAKE CARE OF AND IT'S YOUR JOB TO MAKE SURE THEY DO. ON MY 2006 300C CHRYSLER REPLACED THE GAS TANK AND THE CAR STILL STALLS. I'VE ALMOST BEEN REAR ENDED TWICE BECAUSE THEIR FAILURE TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES.
MY 2006 CHRYSLER 300C STALLS AT STOP LIGHTS. GOING 30 MILES AND HIGHER THE TAC WILL DROP TO ZERO AND WITH IN SECONDS THE CAR WILL JERK AND IT'S RUNNING AGAIN. WHEN THE CAR DIES ALL THE DASH LIGHTS FLASH OFF AND ON, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, THE LIGHTING BOLT, ALL OF THEM AND WHEN IT'S DONE DOING THIS. THE CHECK ENGINE ISN'T ON. SO YOU CAN'T GET A CODE TO READ. DEC. 28 2020 MY WIFE WENT TO THE STORE AND SHE HAD OUR GRAND DAUGHTER IN THE CAR. SHE WENT TO MAKE A LEFT INTO THE SHOPPING CENTER WHEN THE CAR DIED. THE ON COMING CAR HAD TO SERVE TO KEEP FROM HITTING HER. I'VE BEEN TO THE DEALER AND THEY CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT. BEEN TO THREE MECHCANICS AND THEY CAN'T FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM. IF YOU GO TO ANY CHRYSLER 300C FORUMS, THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. THEY HAVE THE SAME ANSWER DEALERS AND MECHCANICS DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. CAR COMPLAINTS HAS 45 COMPLAINTS ALONE. THIS IS VERY SERIOUS. IF IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET, IT WILL. THIS PROBLEM IS GOING TO GET SOMEONE KILLED OR HURT REAL BAD.
CUT OFF WHEN TANK FULL OF GAS CAN'T PUT BUT 3/4 OF A TANK IN IT WHEN ARE GOING SLOW IT STALLS OUT
