THE CAR WAS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY FOR HOURS, WHICH HAS AN INCLINE, WITH THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ENGAGED, WHEN IT SUDDENLY ROLLED DOWNED THE DRIVEWAY ACROSS THE STREET INTO A DITCH, THE EMERGENCY LEVER STILL UP, AS IF IT WERE ENGAGED, HAD TO HAVE A TOW TRUCK PULL IT OUT. A YEAR LATER THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WOULD RANDOMLY NOT WORK AND NOW DOES NOT WORK AT ALL
THE CAR HAS BEEN HAVING SEVERAL ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. FUEL GAUGE WILL NOT REGISTER A FULL TANK OF GAS AFTER BEEN FILLED RIGHT AWAY. VOLUME CONTROLS WILL INCREASE AND DECREASE ON THEIR OWN SPORADICALLY. BUTTONS ON THE STEERING WHEEL STOP FUNCTIONING OFF AND ON. ALSO, LATELY WE HAVE BEEN HAVING ISSUE WITH CAR SHAKING AND STUTTERING WHILE DRIVING. HAVE TAKEN IT TO DEALERSHIP 2 TIMES IN THE LAST WEEK. WILL BE VISITING AGAIN THIS WEEK.

2013 DODGE DART. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO POWER BRAKE BOOSTER CONTAMINATION RECALL. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO REMEDY THE DEFECT. THE CONSUMER STATED THE BRAKE DID NOT WORK EFFICIENTLY AND THE MOTOR SEEMED TO NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY WHEN ACCELERATING. OVER TIME, THE MOTOR ISSUE HAS WORSENED, WITH A LOT OF SHAKING AND NOISES, ALONG WITH SOME ACCELERATION ISSUES. *JB
I GOT 2013 DODGE DART 1.4L TURBO 6 SPEED MANUAL AND EVERY MORNING WHEN LEAVE FOR WORK CLUTCH PEDAL GOES TO FLOOR AND HAVE TO PUMP IT GOOD BIT JUST TO GET IT TO CHANGE GEARS. STARTED CAR IN REVERSE AND CAR TAKES OFF WHILE ENGINE IS TURNING OVER. AND ON HIGHWAY IF STAY IN SAME GEAR FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME IT WILL NOT COME OUT GEAR AND BEEN TO DEALERSHIP 2 TIMES FOR THIS AND THEY SAY NOTHING WRONG
THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FAILED AND REQUIRED A 1200 DOLLAR REPAIR. BACKUP CAMERA DOESN'T WORK FOR UNKNOWN REASON. GPS RADIO HAS FAILED AND REQUIRES 1800 REPAIR. PROBLEMS STARTED AT RANDOM. VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW IN 2/14
ON MY WAY HOME FROM MY 40,000 MILE CHECK-UP, INCLUDING OIL CHANGE, TIRE ROTATION, AND FULL VEHICLE INSPECTION, I WAS SITTING AT A RED LIGHT, BRAKE PEDAL FULLY DEPRESSED. ALL OF A SUDDEN, THE PEDAL POPPED BACK UP (WHILE MY FOOT WAS ON IT), THERE WAS A LOUD HISSING SOUND, AND I WAS NO LONGER ABLE TO DEPRESS THE BRAKE. LUCKILY, I WAS ABLE TO ROLL INTO A PARKING LOT WHERE I TRIED TO RESTART MY CAR AND RESTART MY SYSTEM BUT WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL. I WAS TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE COMPANY HAS NO SOLUTION TO THIS RECALL PROBLEM YET SO I WAS GIVEN A RENTAL INDEFINITELY. THIS IS NOT SAFE, TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, AND COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH MORE DANGEROUS.
THE BRAKES IS FAILING TO WORK WHILE MY CAR IS IN MOTION. THESE HAPPENS MOST NOTICEABLY WHEN I'M DRIVING IN A SLOWER PACE, LIKE IN A TRAFFIC JAM OR WHEN I NEED TO SLOW DOWN AND STOP AFTER DRIVING IN A NORMAL SPEED, BECAUSE OF A TRAFFIC AHEAD OR ANYTHING ELSE. THE BRAKE PEDAL WHEN PRESSED (WHICH ALSO MAKES A SOUND LIKE A SMALL AIR BRAKE) GOES WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR THAT AN IMMEDIATE ADDITIONAL PUMPS ON THE PEDAL IS NEEDED TO MAKE THE BRAKES WORK. THIS BRAKE ISSUE IS VERY DANGEROUS AND THE PARTS FOR THE RECALL SHOULD BE AVAILABLE ASAP BEFORE MANY PEOPLE GET INJURED OR KILLED BY THESE SAFETY ISSUE. YOUR UTMOST ACT OF IMPORTANCE IS WELL DESERVED BY YOUR CUSTOMERS.
I HAVE HAD MULTIPLE ISSUES WITH MY CAR SINCE I GOT IT. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH THREE RADIOS, AN ENTIRELY NEW TURBO WAS INSTALLED ONE YEAR AFTER PURCHASING THE CAR. THEN THINGS WERE GOING WELL UNTIL RECENTLY. I HAVE HAD THE CAR IN THE SHOP ABOUT 3 WEEKS IN A ROW. FIRST IT WAS ONE OF MY COILS THAT HAD BECOME INACTIVE. SO WHILE DRIVING IT THE CAR SHAKES AND STUTTERS. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY I TRY TO HIT THE GAS AND THE CAR STARTS SLOWING DOWN AND SHAKING. SO I HAD TAKEN IT TO ANOTHER SHOP TO LOOK AT IT BECAUSE FOR A NEW CAR IT IS NOT IN MY FINANCES TO BE PUTTING $400 INTO MY CAR EVERY WEEK. HAD TO GET THE PART ORDERED SO I AM CURRENTLY DRIVING MY CAR AROUND WITH ONE COIL INACTIVE. THEN IN THE MIDST OF ALL THIS HAPPENING, ONE WEEK AFTER THE COIL HAD OFFICIALLY WENT INACTIVE, IT WAS BACK IN THE SHOP BECAUSE MY EMERGENCY BRAKE ALL OF A SUDDEN BECAME REALLY LOOSE AND WHEN I WASN'T MOVING THE CAR WOULD ROLL. WHICH MEANS THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WASN'T DOING ITS JOB. SO THAT NIGHT I TOOK IT OVER TO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THEM LOOK AT IT YET AGAIN. THEY CALLED ME THE NEXT DAY AND SAID THAT MY LEFT REAR CALIBER HAD SEIZED WHICH IS DESCRIBED TO ME THAT IT WASN'T GRABBING AND RELEASING THE WHEEL LIKE IT SHOULD HAVE WHICH ALSO CAUSED MY BRAKES AND ROTORS TO WEAR SO MUCH THAT THEY HAD TO BE REPLACED. WHICH THIS WAS SOMETHING I COULD NOT JUST LET GO, OR EVEN DRIVE THE CAR WITH, I HAD TO PAY THE DEALERSHIP OVER $400 TO JUST FIX MY CAR SO THAT I COULD DRIVE IT. I CANNOT BELIEVE ALL THE TROUBLE THAT I AM GOING THROUGH FOR A CAR THAT IS NOT EVEN 5 YEARS OLD.
MY FAMILY AND I WHERE COMING UP TO A STOP LIGHT. AFTER LEAVING A MALL WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES THE PEDAL GOT HARD AND THE BRAKES LIGHTS CAME ON. TELL ME TO SERVICE ELECTRONIC BRAKES. I HAD TO PRESS DOWN HARD ON THE BRAKE PEDAL AND USED EMERGENCY BRAKES TO STOP. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN OVER A YEAR MY BRAKES GAVE OUT .

SHIFT CABLE BROKE AT 51000 MILES WHEN SHIFTING FROM REVERSE TO DRIVE. VEHICLE STUCK IN REVERSE. OCCURED WHILE BACK OUT INTO TRAFFIC SITUATION SAFETY ISSUE AS IT FAILED WITH NO WARNING OR INDICATION OF FAILURE. FORTUNATE THAT IT FAILED UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES. CHRYSLER SAYS THAT IT IS NOT PART OF POWER TRAIN AND NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. CANNOT BELIEVE THIS IS NORMAL LIFE EXPECTANCY OF CRUCIAL CONTROL COMPONENT.
LOST BRAKES, I WAS INVOLVED IN A ACCIDENT. I CALLED DODGE SEVERAL TIMES TO FIX RECALL, CAR STILL HASN'T BEEN FIXED. I AM UNABLE TO GET A NYS INSPECTION. I WAS PULLED OVER BY POLICE AND I RECEIVED TICKET FOR NO INSPECTION. DODGE REFUSES TO FIX RECALL AS OF APRIL 2016. I NEED MY CAR FIXED. I AM A COLLEGE STUDENT AND CANT AFFORD TO FIX IT.

IN AUGUST 2016 MY CLUTCH PEDAL STUCK TO THE FLOOR ON THE 405 FREEWAY IN CAGOING 65MPH. THIS CAUSING NO GEAR CHANGE AND CONTROL OVER VEHICLE, CHRYSLER REPAIRED THE MASTER CYLINDER UNDER THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY. (THEY SAID THIS WOULDN'T HAPPEN AGAIN AND THE CAR WAS SAFE) WELL THE CLUTCH DID FAIL ON THE WAY TO VEGAS ON THE FREEWAY GOING 65MPH AGAIN I LOST CONTROL OF THE GEARS AND THE CLUTCH STUCK TO THE FLOOR. CHRYSLER TOLD ME IT WAS A WORN OUT CLUTCH AND THEY WOULDN'T REPLACE THE PARTS OR BUY BACK THE CAR UNDER LEMON LAW. I HAD AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC LOOK AT THE CAR IN GLENDORA CA. HE SAID IT'S NOT A WORN OUT CLUTCH, BUT THE CLUTCH HAS BROKEN DUE TO A LEAKING SLAVE CYLINDER LEAKING OVER THE COMPONENTS. THIS IS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT. AND HAS HAD VARIOUS COURT CASES AGAINST THEM DUE TO THIS ISSUE. THE CAR IS A SO UNSAFE AND A TIME BOMB. I HAVE JUST HAD A NEW BORN BABY AND DO NOT WANT HER ANYWHERE NEAR THIS CAR.

WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND HAD TO BE SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL. THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD AND ATTEMPTED TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. TEN MINUTES LATER, THE VEHICLE RESTARTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER WAS UNKNOWN. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,000.
ON 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS, MY 2013 DODGE DART GT WITH A 2.4 TIGER SHARK ENGINE WITH MULTIAIR HAS SHUT DOWN WHILE THE CAR WAS MOVING ON THE ROAD. THE REASON FOR THIS THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME WAS DUE TO LOW OIL, WHICH WE RECENTLY REALIZED USES AT LEAST 1/2 QUART PER 1,000 MILES. THE DEALER SAYS THIS IS WITHIN NORMAL LIMITS. THEY SAID THAT BEFORE 50,000 MILES IT IS WITHIN NORMAL LIMITS TO BURN 1 QUART FOR EVERY 1000 MILES AND AFTER 50,000 MILES IT IS NORMAL TO BURN 1 QUART FOR EVERY 750 MILES. THIS WAS NEVER DIVULGED TO ME WHEN I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. IT FIRST DID THIS STARTING AT 35,000 MILES. THE VEHICLE NOW HAS 42,000 MILES. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY OIL LIGHT OR ANY OTHER ENGINE LIGHT THAT GOES ON BEFORE THE VEHICLE DIES. IT HAS LEFT ME STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD IN SOME VERY DANGEROUS SITUATIONS. I NO LONGER FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR AND WHO WOULD WANT TO BUY IT FROM ME? TWO DEALERSHIPS HAVE TOLD ME THAT IT IS NORMAL FOR THE ENGINE ON THIS CAR TO BURN LOTS OF OIL, TO DIE WHILE THE CAR IS MOVING IF THE OIL IS LOW, AND FOR THE OIL LIGHT NOT TO GO ON BECAUSE THE CAR WILL STOP RUNNING BEFORE THE SENSOR IS ACTIVATED. THEY TELL ME THEY HAVE SEEN THIS BEFORE. THE MAJOR PROBLEM IS THE OIL SENSOR NEVER ACTIVATES TO TELL ME THE OIL IS LOW. THEY TELL ME TO CHECK THE OIL LEVEL EVERY TIME I PUT GAS IN THE CAR. ABOUT 1 YEAR AGO, THE BRAKES WENT OUT WHILE GOING DOWN A HILL ON THE WAY TO WORK. THEY SAID IT WAS THE BRAKE BOOSTER AND SOME OTHER PART RELATED TO THAT. THE BRAKES HAVE NOT BEEN WORKING CORRECTLY SINCE IT WAS FIXED, BUT THE DEALERSHIP INSISTS THAT THEY ARE FINE. I LEFT THE CAR WITH THEM FOR 2 WEEKS AND THEY COULD NOT GET THE BRAKES TO FAIL. ON 1/15/16 WHEN I PULLED INTO MY DRIVEWAY, THE BRAKES GAVE WAY AGAIN. I BACKED UP AND DROVE IN AGAIN, AND THEY DID IT REPEATEDLY. IT WAS LIKE THEY COULDN'T CATCH OR SOMETHING, YOU COULD FEEL THE JERK OF THE BRAKES AS I TRIED TO APPLY THEM. WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE RUN-AROUND FOR ALMOST A YEAR, AND WERE TOLD THAT THE BRAKES WERE FIXED AND FINE. WE RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FROM CHRYSLER SAYING THERE IS NO PERMANENT FIX FOR THE PROBLEM, YET THEY REFUSE TO LET US PAST THE ENTRY LEVEL PEOPLE OPERATING THE PHONE. I AM IN DANGER EVERY TIME I HAVE TO DRIVE MY CAR. WE HAVE GOTTEN NO WHERE IN THE PAST YEAR WITH CHRYSLER, AND HAVE BEEN REPEATEDLY LIED TO ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THE BRAKES. THE CAR BACKFIRES WHEN I SHIFT, AND HESITATES WHEN DRIVING LIKE IT SLIPPING AND CANT GET UP TO SPEED. SINCE OWNING THIS VEHICLE WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS AND NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO ASSIST US.
