THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO SHIFT INTO CERTAIN GEARS AFTER STARTING THE CAR. THIS CAN OCCUR FOR A WHILE AFTER THE INITIAL IGNITION, OFTEN NOT ALLOWING THE VEHICLE TO MOVE THROUGH INTERSECTIONS SAFELY. I SOMETIMES CANNOT SHIFT INTO 1ST GEAR AFTER STOPPING AT A STOPLIGHT, AND SOMETIMES CANNOT SHIFT INTO SECOND GEAR, IF I AM ABLE TO GET IT INTO 1ST GEAR. OCCASIONALLY, IF I LEAVE THE TRANSMISSION IN 1ST GEAR OR REVERSE WHEN PARKED, AND I START THE VEHICLE, EVEN THOUGH THE CLUTCH PEDAL IS FULLY DEPRESSED, THE TRANSMISSION IS ENGAGED, AND CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO MOVE ON IGNITION. APPLYING THE BRAKES MAKES STALLS THE VEHICLE. I OCCASIONALLY HAVE TO PUMP THE BRAKES, AND/OR CLUTCH PEDAL SEVERAL TIMES IN ORDER TO ALLOW THE TRANSMISSION TO CHANGE GEARS PROPERLY. I HAVE READ SEVERAL POSTS ON FORUMS INDICATING THAT IT IS DUE TO A DEFECTIVE MASTER AND/OR SLAVE CYLINDER. DODGE HAS ACKNOWLEDGED THE ISSUE BY EXTENDING THE LENGTH OF THE WARRANTY ON THIS PART, BUT I BELIEVE THAT THIS SHOULD BE A SAFETY RECALL. IT'S VERY FRIGHTENING WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO MOVE OUT OF AN INTERSECTION, AND THERE IS ONCOMING TRAFFIC, AND YOU CANNOT GET THE CAR INTO THE NEXT GEAR. THIS STARTED HAPPENING ABOUT A YEAR AGO, AND SEEMS TO BE INCREASING IN OCCURRENCE.

BACKING OUT OF DRIVEWAY THE GEARSHIFT STOOD ON REVERSE. I HAD TO ENGAGE EMERGENCY BRAKES TO STOP. THE GEARSHIFT STOOD IN REVERSE AND WILL NOT MOVE TO ANY OTHER GEAR. TOWED TO DEALER AND FOUND IT WAS THE GEARSHIFT CABLE DISLODGED. I HAD TO PAY 390.00 DOLLARS TO GET IT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE IS LESS THAN 3 YEARS AND THE SHIFT GEAR CABLE SNAPPED. THANK GOD THERE WERE NO VEHICLES OR PEDESTRIANS PRESENT.
RADIATOR ON 2013 DODGE DART DEFECTIVE---IN SHOP FOR THE THIRD ONE (ONE ORIGINAL AND TWO REPLACEMENTS) COOLANT LEAK COLLECTING AND STAIN IN DRIVEWAY.
PARKED VEH TO ENTER STORE. WHEN I RETURNED TO THE VEH AND APPLIED THE BRAKE TO PUT THE VEH IN REVERSE, IT POPPED OUT, AND WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO PRESS. THIS WAS IN A PRIVATE PARKING LOT. BRAKING POWER WAS SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED TO ALMOST NONEXISTENT, AND I WAS FORCED TO USE MY EMERGENCY BRAKE TO LIMP THE CAR BACK TO MY RESIDENCE.
CERTAIN TIMES CAR WILL NOT START. ONCE VEHICLE IS ABLE TO START DASH WILL SAY SERVICE TRANSMISSION AND GEAR NOT AVAILABLE. THAT IS FOR FORWARD OR REVERSE. WHILE DRIVING FEELS LIKE TRANSMISSION WOULD SHIFT FROM 1 TO 3 GEAR. NO POWER AND ABSOLUTELY NO AWNSER FROM DEALERSHIP ON PROBLEM

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
WHILE PULLING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE, I HAD MY FOOT DEPRESSING THE BRAKE. ALL OF A SUDDEN THE BREAK POPPED BACK OUT AND PUSHED MY FOOT BACKWARD. I MOVED SLOWLY. I PUT MY CAR IN PARK, TURNED THE ENGINE OFF, AND THEN TURNED IT BACK ON AGAIN AND PRESSED ON THE BRAKE ONLY TO HEAR A SOUND OF AIR BEING RELEASED. I HAD TO DRIVE 10 MPH SO THAT I COULD ENSURE PROPER STOPPING TIME BECAUSE THE BRAKE WAS LITERALLY USELESS.

THE CAR WON'T START, SERVICE TRANSMISSION INDICATOR LIGHT, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON, CAR MAKES LOUD NOISE FROM THE ENGINE. THE CAR MOVES REAL SLOW AND IT DOESN'T SHIFT GEARS AND THE PRDN ARE ALL LIT IN RED.

RECALL #R42 WAS ISSUED CONCERNING THE TCM OF VEHICLE. THIS ITEM FAILED ON MY CAR ON , NOVEMBER 17 2015 CAUSING TRANSMISSION TO DISENGAGE WHILST I WAS DRIVING IN TRAFFIC. DEALER INSTALLED TEMPORARY FIX BUT HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO COMPLETE REPAIR AS OF TODAY'S DATE, FEB 19 2016.
I HAVE A 2013 DODGE DART. AFTER 2 YEARS, THE CLUTCH SUDDENLY STUCK TO THE FLOOR, THE VEHICLE INOPERABLE; IT NEEDED A NEW MASTER CYLINDER. A FEW MONTHS LATER, I STARTED NOTICING IT STICKING AGAIN, BUT IT COULD BE PULLED OUT BY USING MY FOOT TO POP IT BACK OUT. SO I PROMPTLY TOOK IT TO THE DEALER. THEY SAID EVERYTHING WAS NORMAL. LAST MONTH, THE CLUTCH WENT OUT AGAIN. HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALER. NOW IT SEEMS THEY ARE REPLACING THE ENTIRE CLUTCH KIT. TOLD ME THE FLYWHEEL WAS COMPLETELY BURNED OUT. AND TRIED TO BLAME MY DRIVING, SAYING THE FLYWHEEL WAS NORMAL WHEN THEY EVALUATED IT. NO WAY, DODGE. NOW THEY'VE HAD MY CAR SINCE NOVEMBER 16TH, TODAY BEING DEC. 3, AND IT STILL WON'T BE FIXED UNTIL WELL INTO NEXT WEEK. AND THE RENTAL CAR IS OUT OF MY POCKET.

THE FIRST TIME MY BREAKS WENT OUT I WAS SITTING IN A DRIVE THRU AND WE HEARD A LOUD POPPING NOISE AND THE BREAKS BECAME HARD TO PUSH DOWN. IT TOOK LONGER TO STOP DRIVING HOME TO BE TOWED. THE SECOND TIME THE SAME THING HAPPENED BUT WE WERE DRIVING THIS TIME AND WITH THIS ONE THE TRACTION CONTROL ALSO WENT OUT. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN 9 MONTHS THAT I HAVE HAD MY BREAK SYSTEM REPLACED. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD AS I COULD HAVE KILLED SOMEONE SEEING AS THOUGH I HAD NO BREAKS TO STOP. I DRIVE LONG DISTANCES FOR WORK ON MAJOR FREEWAYS THAT ARE VERY BUSY IN THE MORNING AND AT NIGHT AND HAD THIS HAPPENED WHILE I WAS ON ONE OF THOSE FREEWAYS, SOMEONE WOULD LIKELY HAVE DIED OR AT THE VERY LEAST BEEN SEVERELY INJURED. THIS IS UNCALLED FOR.
I OWN A 2013 DODGE DART WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD HEARD POP AND CAR STOPPED RUNNING, WAS ABLE TO GLIDE OFF THE ROAD, COULD NOT RESTART VEHICLE. HAD IT TOWED TO DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE BATTERY WAS BAD AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AS WELL PARTS MISSING FOR A PART OF TOP OF THE BATTERY AREA AND REPLACED TO ELECTRICAL PART THAT HAD BEEN RECALLED. WHEN WENT TO GO GET CAR ON DATE WAS STATED WOULD BE READY WAS TOLD THE TIMING CHAIN WAS BROKEN, HOLE IN BLOCK AND 8 OUT OF 16 VALVES STUCK, NEEDING A NEW ENGINE. MILEAGE 45,900 THE CAR HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP SINCE 11/14/2015 AND BEING TOLD WE HAVE NO CLUE WHAT CAUSED THIS AND WAITING FOR ENGINE TO ARRIVE WHEN WAS TOLD ENGINE WAS ORDERED ON SAME DATE OF INFORMING ME OF ISSUE.
WHEN TIRE PRESSURE IS LOW, DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER INSTRUCTS USER TO "INFLATE TIRES TO 0 (ZERO) PSI" THIS OCCURS ANY TIME ONE OR MORE TIRE LOSES ENOUGH PRESSURE TO TRIGGER THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR.

THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
CAR STALLED WHILE OPERATING UNDER FULL POWER ON THE INTERSTATE. IT TOOK APPROX. 3 MINUTES AND IT FINALLY RESTARTED. TOOK CAR TO DEALERSHIP. THEY STATE CAR IS NOT PART OF ANY RECALL BASED ON VIN #. THEY STATE STALLING WAS RESULT OF EXTREMELY LOW OIL. HOWEVER, THE CARE HAS NO LEAK AND DOES NOT BURN OIL. IT IS SYNTHETIC OIL AND IT SIMPLY BREAK DOWNS AND DISSIPATES. I DON'T BELIEVE THEM. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS CAR HAS DONE THIS AND THE FIRST TIME THEY RE-FLASHED THE COMPUTER WITH A SOFTWARE PATCH TO FIX PROBLEM.

I GOT A RECALL LETTER FOR THE TCM (THAT WAS A MONTH AGO.) HAVE HAD MY CAR IN THREE TIMES BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T START SINCE I GOT THE LETTER . HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TWO OF THE THREE TIMES. WAS IN YESTERDAY & WAS TOLD THE PROBLEM IS THE RECALLED PART & THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO UNTIL I GET THE SECOND NOTICE STATING THE PART IS READY . IT IS A GAMBLE EVERY TIME I GO TO START MY CAR AS TO WHETHER OR NOT I WILL BE ABLE TO GET WHERE I'M GOING . THE CAR HAS SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL ON 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS ALL OF WHICH HAS BEEN @ A STOP SIGN WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE . IF THIS ISN'T GOING TO BE RESOLVED TILL SOMETIME IN JANUARY MAYBE THERE SHOULD BE DEALER CARS MADE AVAILABLE FOR US TO USE . IN ADDITION, THE CRUISE CONTROL FAILED TO PROPERLY FUNCTION AND VARIOUS WARNING INDICATORS AND GAUGES, INCLUDING THE SERVICE TRANSMISSION WARNING INDICATOR, RANDOMLY FLASHED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED NUMEROUS TIMES, BUT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHEN THE MANUFACTURER WOULD SUPPLY THE PART. THE MANUFACTURER WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE A REASONABLE TIME FRAME TO SUPPLY THE PARTS TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START AND WAS UNABLE TO BE DRIVEN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
WHILE DRIVING THE BRAKES FAILED, THE PEDAL WAS HARD TO PUSH AND WE HEARD AN AIR NOISE FROM AROUND THE PEDAL. WE NEARLY CRASHED INTO SOMEONE IN THE WALMART PARKING LOT. DODGE SAID THAT THE MASTER CYLINDER, AND BRAKE BOOSTER NEEDED REPLACED. THEY WOULD NOT COVER ANY OF THE $1200.00 COST.
CLUTCH PEDAL DOES NOT RETURN FROM DEPRESSED POSITION. CLUTCH PEDAL IS SOFT AND CLUTCH MECHANISM DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY FOR A FEW MINUTES OF INITIAL OPERATION. AFTER THE INITIAL INCIDENT THIS PROBLEM HAS BECOME MORE FREQUENT AND NOW OCCURS ALMOST DAILY.

MY PREGNANT WIFE WAS DRIVING HOME WITH OUR OTHER DAUGHTER, WHEN COMING TO A STOP LIGHT THE BRAKES MADE A LOUD POPPING SOUND AND THE SOUND OF AIR HISSED AS SHE COULD NOT PRESS THE BRAKE DOWN. SHE FLEW THROUGH THE RED LIGHT AND COULDN'T STOP FOR ATLEAST ANOTHER FIFTY FEET HOLDING BOTH FEET TO THE BRAKE AND PULLING THE E-BRAKE. I AM VERY THANKFUL THAT SHE WAS NOT INJURED OR SMASHED BY A VEHICLE AT THE RED LIGHT AND YOU SHOULD BE TOO. AFTER LOOKING ONLINE AND SEEING THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AND NO RECALL FOR THAT PART BEING SENT IS LUDICROUS. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME IT WOULD COST ME 1,500-2,000 TO FIX THE PROBLEM, MONEY WHICH I DO NOT HAVE SO I TRADED IN MY CAR WITH NEGATIVE EQUITY, AND THE DEALERSHIP, I BELIEVE WAS VERY NON-PROFESSIONAL AND TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION. THEY ALSO SHOWED ME AN INCORRECT NADA PRICE CHART FOR THE TRADE-IN VALUE TO MY CAR.
