I HAVE HAD SO MANY ISSUES WITH THIS CAR, MY LIFE HAS BEEN PUT IN DANGER ON COUNTLESS OCCASIONS. THE 2013 DODGE DART SHOULD NOT BE ON THE ROAD, IT IS A DANGER TO OTHERS AND TO ITS DRIVERS. I BOUGHT MY CAR IN 2013 AND FROM DAY ONE I ALWAYS FELT THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE WAY IT SHIFTED. IT IS NOW 2019 AND FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS THE CAR HAS BEEN IN AND OUT OF THE SHOP FOR TRANSMISSION ISSUES EVEN AFTER THE CAR WAS TAKEN IN FOR THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE RECALL. THE CAR HAS REVVED UP TO 80 MPH ON ITS OWN WHILE I WAS AT A COMPLETE STOP, IF I HAD TAKEN MY FOOT OFF THE BRAKE I WOULD HAVE DRIVEN IN TO THE INTERSECTION. THE CARS RPMS HAVE GONE UP TO 7,000 WHILE I WAS AT 50 MPH, THE CAR HAS PROBLEMS SHIFTING BACK DOWN WHILE COMING TO A SLOWER SPEED ON THE FREEWAY, THE CAR HAS STALLED OUT IN COLD TEMPERATURES AND SHUT OFF COMPLETELY, THE CAR HAS LOST ALL BOOST WHILE STEPPING ON THE GAS DRIVING ON CITY STREETS, THE CAR IS 6 YEARS OLD 67,000 MILES AND NEEDS THE ENTIRE TRANSMISSION REPLACED ONE WEEK AFTER MY 6 YEAR WARRANTY ENDED. THIS CAR IS DEFECTIVE AND UNPREDICTABLE, NOT ONLY HAS THIS CAR BEEN A FINANCIAL BURDEN BUT IT HAS PUT MINE AND MY CHILD'S LIFE IN DANGER AND THE DEALER CAN NOT FIX THE REOCCURRING PROBLEMS.
THE RIBBON CABLE THAT CONTROLS THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS HAS BEEN SEVERED, DUE TO REPEATED USE OF THE BLINKERS ON THE SAME CONTROL. THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS ALWAYS RUN NOW, AT A LOW SPEED. THEY CAN NOT BE STOPPED, SPED UP, AND CAN NO LONGER USE THE WIPER FLUID DISPENSER.
TAKATA RECALL TRANSMISSION ISSUES AND BLIND SPOT DETECTOR ISSUES WHILE IN MOTION MY RIGHT BLIND SPOT DETECTOR WILL TURN EVEN IF NOBODY IS IN THE PROPER PARAMETERS OF THE VEHICLE
NEED TO REPLACE ALL 20 LUG NUTS THEY ARE ALL SWOLLEN AND HAVE TO BANG THEM OFF BECAUSE TOOLS DON'T FIT BECAUSE IT'S EITHER TO BIG OR TOO SMALL. NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN TO ANY OF MY CAR EVER. SWOLLEN LUG NUTS ARE FROM THE WAY THESE LOOK NUTS ARE MANUFACTURER FROM THE DEALER THEY GET MOISTURE IN THEM MAKING THEM SWELL. IF THEY KNOW THEY SWELL WHY MAKE THE LUG NUTS WITH THAT CAP COATING THAT EVENTUALLY CAUSES IT? THEY ARE $12 A PIECE..I NEED 20. $240 FOR DEFECTIVE LUG NUTS THAT I'M GOING TO HAVE TO KEEP BUYING IS DRAFT.. CAN'T BUY THOSE FANCY PRETTY LUG NUTS LIKE OTHER CARS.. SOMEONE IF YOU HAVE THE SWOLLEN LUG NUT ISSUE REPORT IT PLEASE. HOPEFULLY THEY'LL SUBMIT A RECALL AND STOP MAKING THOSE LUG NUTS
THE PARKING BRAKE WILL NOT ENGAGE. DOES NOT HOLD CAR IN POSITION WHEN APPLYING THE EMERGENCY BRAKE. CAR ROLLS WHEN PARKING BRAKE IS APPLIED.
WHEN VEHICLE IS IN PARK, THE DASH SAYS IT'S NOT AND WON'T TURN OFF

THE CONTACT CALLED MARK PORTER CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (308 E MAIN ST, POMEROY, OH 45769) AND WAS PROVIDED THE SAME INFORMATION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
MY DAUGHTER JUST PURCHASED A 2013 DODGE DART 4 MONTHS AGO AND THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE HAS ALREADY BEEN FAILING. I KNOW SEVERAL OTHER 2013 DODGE DARTS HAVE HAD A RECALL FOR THIS AND UNFORTUNATELY MY DAUGHTERS CAR HAS NOT BUT IS HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. THEY WONT PAY FOR IT WITHOUT THE RECALL ON THAT VIN # . I THINK IF THERE IS A DEFECT ON THESE 2013 DARTS THEY ALL SHOULD BE RECALLED
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE DART. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION ERRONEOUSLY SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE AND COULD NOT BE TURNED OFF IMMEDIATELY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HENDRICK DODGE (81 MCKNAN DR, CARY, NC) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V542000 (POWER TRAIN). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 51,000.
HI MY DODGE DART HAS THE AIRBAG LIGHT ON I HAVEN'T BEN IN AN ACCIDENT OR ANY THING IT'S A SAFETY MATTER IF I WAS TO GET IN AN ACCIDENT AND THE AIRBAG DOES NOT GO OFF ME AND ALL MY PASSENGERS COULD BE SEVERELY INGERED OR DEAD WITCH WOULD LEAD TO A PRITTY PENNY LAWSUIT THE AIRBAG LIGHT JUST CAME ON IT WAS JUST SITTING IN THE YARD AND THEN I WENT TO START IT AND WHEN IT STARTED THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON SO I DID A LITTLE RESEARCH TO FINDS OUT WHAT IT MEANT AND FOUND OUT THAT THE AIR BAG LIGHT MENT THAT THE AIRBAG MAY NOT COME OUT AT IMPACT AND IT'S A PRITTY PRICY FIX SO HOPEFULLY Y'ALL CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT SO IT DOESN'T END UP A TRAGITY
TAKATA RECALL. HI I HAVE A 2013 DODGE DART LIMITED WITH 118,000 MILES ON IT. I WAS AT A 4 WAY STOP SIGN I WENT TO GO AND ALL OF A SUDDEN MY CAR WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING. MY GEARS WOULD NOT WORK. DRIVE, REVERSE AND NEUTRAL ALL DO NOT WORK. I'VE BEEN TOLD IT'S THE TRANSMISSION.THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL ON THIS TRANSMISSION. IT'S A AUTOMIX 1.4 TURBO TRANSMISSION. THIS SHOULD BE ON YOUR GUYS TO RECALL AND RELACE MY TRANSMISSION.
'TAKATA RECALL' CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. HAVING ISSUES WITH TRUNK POPPING OPEN WHEN DRIVING OR JUST AT RANDOM TIMES. CAR WON'T START ALL THE TIME AND WHEN IT DOES IT'S REAL JUMPY AND SHAKES A LOT.
I HAVE TAKEN THIS VEHICLE INTO ELK GROVE DODGE 4 TIMES FOR THE TRANSMISSION SAFETY RECALL. EACH TIME THE TRANSMISSION GOES OUT. JUNE 15, 2018 WAS THE LAST TIME THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT. ELK GROVE DODGE REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION.WITH APPROXIMATELY 59,893 MILES ON THE CAR. APPROXIMATELY 1.5 MONTHS AGO 6 MONTHS LATER I WAS ON THE FREE WAY AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE VEHICLE JUMPED OUT OF GEAR AND WENT INTO NEUTRAL. I THEN LOST POWER TO THE ENGINE AND ALMOST CRASHED INTO THE CENTER DIVIDE. I CONTACTED ELK GROVE DODGE WHEN I FINALLY GOT HOME WITH THE VEHICLE. THE SERVICE MANAGER ADVISED ME THAT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO HONOR THEIR WARRANTY EVEN IF IT WAS UNDER SAFETY RECALL. I CONTACTED DODGE RESOLUTIONS DEPT. SPOKE TO A GUY BY THE NAME OF CHANCE. THIS GUY IS TAKING HIS DEAR SWEET TIME IN HELPING ME. THIS VEHICLE IS A LEMON AND CHRYSLER IS STARTING TO REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM.
DURING COLD WEATHER OF 20 F OR LOWER REMOTE START, PUSH START, AND MAIN DASH/TOUCH SCREEN WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY. CAR WILL NOT CORRECTLY START BY REMOTE/PUSH START AND STALLS OUT PERIODICALLY DESPITE HAVING BEEN SERVICED FOR RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ISSUE. MAIN DASH/ TOUCH SCREEN WILL NOT TURN ON AT CAR START WHICH MAKES HEAT/COOLING/RADIO/REAR CAMERA/ SEAT HEATING INACCESSIBLE AND UNCONTROLLABLE. MULTIPLE RESTARTS DOES NOT FIX THE PROBLEM AND WHILE DRIVING IT WILL NOT COME ON. ANYTHING CONTROLLED BY DASH/TOUCH SCREEN IS LOCKED TO THE SETTINGS THEY WERE LAST TIME THE DASH/ TOUCH SCREEN WAS ACCESSIBLE. ACTUAL CONTROLE KNOBS DO NOT WORK WHEN DASH/TOUCH SCREEN IS NOT FUNCTIONAL. IF SYSTEMS DO NOT WORK CORRECTLY AT START THEY DO NOT WORK CORRECTLY AFTER DRIVING AND 'WARMING' UP THE ENGIN. THIS CAR IS LOCATED IN MICHIGAN.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY TO WORK THE CAR WILL STALL AND BEGIN TO JERK. THE ENGINE LIGHT WILL BEGIN TO FLASH WHILE IN MOTION AND THE CAR WILL SLOW DOWN IN SPEED AND THEN PICK BACK UP AFTER A WHILE. AFTER CRANKING THE CAR IT WILL SHUT OFF WHILE STILL PARKED. THE CAR WILL ALSO SHUT OFF WHEN SLOWING DOWN TO TURN ONTO ANOTHER STREET.
WHEN I HAD THE MECHANIC LOOK AT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, HE ADVISED THAT THERE IS A LEAK IN THE FUEL SYSTEM.. SO MY CAR SLOWLY, VERY SLOWLY LEAKS GASOLINE. THIS STARTED THE SAME TIME AS THE WIPERS, AND THE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR, AND THE RECALL ON THE TRANSMISSION. HAS TO BE RELATED OR AN AFFECT OF ONE OF THOSE THINGS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE DART. WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, THE GEAR SHIFTED OUT OF DRIVE AND INTO NEUTRAL ON ITS OWN. ALSO, THE TRANSMISSION SERVICE AND CHECK ENGINE INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 37,000.
BACK IN THE BEGINNING OF 2019 I STARTED HAVING ISSUES WITH THE TRANSMISSION. IT WAS CAUSING A JERKING MOTION WHEN I ACCELERATED AND I BROUGHT IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP NOT ONCE BUT TWICE. I INITIALLY HAD A CODE COME UP STATING THAT I NEEDED TO SERVICE THE TRANSMISSION. IT WOULD COME ON AND CLEAR ITSELF BEFORE I COULD GET IT LOOKED AT. THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME I BROUGHT IT IN AND THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. IT CONTINUED TO HAPPEN OVER THE NEXT SIX MONTHS OR MORE AND WHEN I BROUGHT IT BACK TO THEM AND DISCUSSED THE RECALL ON THE TRANSMISSION THEY DISMISSED ME AS THAT WASN'T THE ISSUE BUT, AT THAT POINT I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED INTO THE SHOP BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE SINCE I WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE IT. THEY STILL HAVE NOT FIXED THE TRANSMISSION RECALL AND I HAVE HAD TO HAVE MY CAR SITTING FOR THE LAST YEAR AND 2 MONTHS DUE TO MY INABILITY TO DRIVE IT BECAUSE OF WHATEVER ISSUES THAT WERE GOING ON THAT THEY NEVER FIXED. I AM UNSURE OF THE DAMAGE THAT THIS HAS CAUSED AND I AM HOPING THAT YOU GUYS WILL BE ABLE TO HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHAT I CAN DO TO HAVE THEM NOW FIX MY CAR. SINCE THERE IS POSSIBLY ADDITIONAL DAMAGE DONE TO MY VEHICLE DUE TO THEM DISMISSING ME I FEEL THAT IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO FIX THAT DAMAGE AS WELL. THE DATE I GAVE WAS AN APPROXIMATE DATE SINCE IT HAS BEEN SO LONG I AM UNSURE OF THE EXACT DATE BUT CAN GET A COPY OF THE DOCUMENTS FROM THE DEALERSHIP IF NEEDED.
THERE IS HEAT THAT CONSISTENTLY EMANATES INTO THE CAR FROM THE AREA WHERE THE WIRING HARNESS OR FUSE BOX WOULD BE. I'VE HAD IT LOOKED AT AND MECHANICS CONTINUE TO SAY THAT THE FUSE BOX IS FINE BUT THERE SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE WITH THE HARNESS. THE PROBLEMS IS SO BAD THAT THE HEAT OVER TIME HAS LED TO BAD PAINT DAMAGE TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CAR. THE PAINT IS COMPLETELY DULL. THE DISCOLORATION IS BEYOND OBVIOUS AND NOTICEABLE. THE HEAT BEGINS TO BE A PROBLEM ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER TURNING IT ON.
IT APPEARS THERE IS AN ALARMING NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE WHEN I START THE CAR AT DEGREES LOWER THAN 40. THIS IS AN INTERMITTENT ISSUE BUT WHEN IT OCCURS I LOOSE POWER WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD RESULTING IN MY RPM'S TO JUMP HIGHER THAN NORMAL ACCOMPANIED BY VIBRATION AND RATALING COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD OR TIRE (ITS HARD TO TELL) . FROM MY RESEARCH, THE COLD START ISSUE WAS A RECALL FOR 2013 DODGE DART BUT IT IS NOT SHOWING FOR MY VIN. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME REGUARDING THIS COMPLAINT??
CAR NEEDS SHIFTER CABLE BUSHINGS ON THE TRANSMISSION, WITHOUT THE PROPER BUSHINGS, THE TRANSMISSION MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO BE SHIFTED, EVEN THOUGH THE SHIFTER MAY SHOW THE TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN SHIFTED. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP, AND THE FCA RECALL ASSISTANCE CENTER AND WAS TOLD THE NEW PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE NOR DID ANYONE KNOW WHEN THEY WOULD BE. SINCE THEN, I HAVE HEARD NOTHING THOUGH I WAS PROMISED AN UPDATE. MEANWHILE I DRIVE THE CAR WITH GREAT FEAR, I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO DRIVE IT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE DART. WHILE DRIVING UNKNOWN SPEEDS, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS FAILED TO SHUT OFF. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HOOVER DODGE (195 MARYMEADE DR, SUMMERVILLE, SC 29483, (843) 873-1114) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIPER MECHANISM NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 36,000.
I HAVE HAD 5 DIFFERENT PLACES CHANGE MY OIL AND AT EVERY ONE THE FILTER HAS EITHER COME OFF IN MY HAND OR CREATE A GAP IN THE FILTER SEAL WHICH IS CAUSED OIL TO START SPRAYING ALL OVER THE CAR AND LEAKING ALL OVER THE GROUND. ALL FIVE TIMES THIS IS HAPPENED THE FILTER IS EITHER GOING OFF IN MY HAND OR HAD THE SEAL OF THE FILTER START LEAKING OIL. SPRAYING OIL ALL OVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND CAUSING ME TO LOSE ALL OF MY OIL ON THE GROUND AND ALL OVER THE ENGINE UNKNOWN IF THIS IS CAUSED ANY OTHER PROBLEMS INSIDE THE ENGINE YET EVERY TIME THIS IS HAPPENED I WAS JUST ABOUT TO GET ON THE FREEWAY I WAS ABLE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND HAVE IT TAKEN CARE OF WITH MINIMAL DRIVING WITHOUT OIL . THIS IS HAS HAPPENED FIVE TIMES NOW AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS CHANGING THE OIL EVERY TIME IT'S HAPPENED WHEN YOU JUST CHANGE THE OIL AND ALSO WHEN IT'S ALMOST TIME TO CHANGE OIL AGAIN OR ANYTIME IN BETWEEN THAT. IF I HAD MADE IT ON THE FREEWAY WITH ANY OF THESE TIMES THAT THIS IS HAPPENED IT COULD HAVE BEEN CATASTROPHIC TO MY ENGINE AND CAUSE ME TO CRASH
CAR WENT INTO NEUTRAL AUTOMATICALLY WHILE DRIVING , WARNINGS SIGNS ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAID BLIND SPOT UNAVAILABLE , AUTO STICK UNAVAILABLE , GEAR NOT AVAILABLE THEN FOLLOW BY A SERVICE TRANSMISSION. COULDN'T GET THE CAR STARTED BACK WHEN I HAD TO WAIT 10 MINS , FINALLY GOT IT START BACK UP AS A RESULT HARD SIFTING OCCURRED.
I GOT IN MY CAR, STARTED IN, PLACED IT IN DRIVE AND PULLED OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY. I GOT NO MORE THAN 4 FEET AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL ON ITS OWN FROM DRIVE AND THEN STOP MOVING. I PUT THE BRAKE ON, MOVED THE GEAR STICK INTO PARK AND ATTEMPTED TO RESTART THE CAR. IT WOULD NOT TURN OVER. I LOOKED DOWN AT THE GEAR SHIFT AND REALIZED IT WAS STILL IN DRIVE AND SAID THE SAME ON THE DASH. REPEATED TRIES PROVED TO BE FRUITLESS. THE CAR IS NOW ENGAGED IN DRIVE AND PREVENTS ME FROM REMOVING MY KEY FROM THE IGNITION.
I WAS INVOLVED IN CAR ACCIDENT 12/20/2018, MY AIRBAG ON DRIVER SIDE DID NOT DEFLATE. I RECEIVED BRUISE AND PAIN ON MY LEFT SIDE OF THE BODY. *DT *TR
MY 2013 DODGE DART SXT WINDSHIELD WIPERS WILL NOT TURN OFF! THIS IS BECAUSE OF THE SWITCH NOT WORKING OR IT'S AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE. TURN SIGNALS STILL WORK BUT THIS IS A HAZARD THAT CAN GET DRIVER HURT. IT ADDS AN DISTRACTION.
1ST INCIDENT: DROVE MY GIRLFRIEND TO WORK. CAME HOME AND PARKED THE CAR. WENT BACK OUT AND IT KEPT SAYING GEAR NOT FOUND. THEY HAD TO PUT A WIRE ON MY TRANSMISSION MODULE, OR SAID I COULD BY A NEW ONE. 2ND FOR ABOUT THE LAST YEAR IT WON'T FIND THE GEAR. SAYS GO TO NEUTRAL THEN DRIVE. SOMETIMES WON'T GO TO ANYTHING. 3RD. WIPERS WENT ON AND WOULDN'T TURN OFF. SPRAYER DOESN'T WORK. LADY ON THE PHONE SAID THE RECALL WAS FIXED IN 2016. BUT OBVIOUSLY IT IS STILL AN ISSUE.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND ON CITY STREETS, THE DASH BOARD LIGHTS WENT OUT AND THE NEEDLES FOR THE SPEED AND RPM WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM LIKE THE CAR WAS CUT OFF. THE CAR WAS STILL IN MOTION. THE DASHBOARD SAID SERVICE ELECTRICAL BREAKING SYSTEM AND THE ENGINE LIGHT ELUMINATED. IT DID THIS MORE THAN ONE TIME. IT WILL FLICKER THE WARNING ON THE DASHBOARD AND THEN AT ONE POINT THE CAR CUT OFF WHILE ON CITY STREETS. AT ANOTHER TIME WHEN THE MESSAGE FLICKERED ON THE DASHBOARD THE BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES AND I AM CONCERNED ABOUT MY SAFETY IN THIS CAR AS WELL AS MY CHILDREN. THE RADIO CUT OFF AND THE EVENTUALLY CUT BACK ON.
ENGINE BEGAN TO RUN ROUGHLY AND THEN STALLED IN TRAFFIC WHILE AT A LIGHT. MANAGED TO RESTART AFTER SEVERAL TIRES WITH GAUGES CLICKING AND DASH LIGHTS FLICKERING AND DROVE HOME. CAR WILL NOT START NOW ALTHOUGH LIGHTS AND RADIO FUNCTION NORMALLY.

THE CAR KEEPS CUTTING OFF. I CRANK IT BACK UP AND IT RUNS FOR A LITTLE BIT AND CUTS RIGHT BACK OFF. I HAVE HAD THE BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR CHECK AND THAT'S NOT THE ISSUE.
I WAS DRIVING AND HAD MY WIPERS ON OF COURSE BECAUSE IT WAS RAINING AND IT STOPPED RAINING SO I WENT TO TURN THEM OFF BUT IT NEVER TURNED OFF. SO I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THE RIBBON INSIDE WAS BROKEN AND THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE OVER 500$ TO FIX IT. SO I LOOKED UP THE FUSE TO TAKE IT OUT SO IT WOULD TURN OFF BUT TURNS OUT THERE ISN'T ANY FUSE FOR IT. I'M LOOKING THROUGH THE INTERNET TO SEE IF ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM AND THERE ARE ACTUALLY A LOT OF PEOPLE THIS HAS HAPPENED TO. I BELIEVE DODGE SHOULD FIX THIS AT NO COST. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THE FAILURE OCCURRED TWO YEAR PRIOR AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SOUTHERN MOTORS SPRINGFIELD (1500 GA-21, SPRINGFIELD, GA 31329), WHERE THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE WAS REPLACED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER BUT WAS TAKEN LATER TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE HYDRAULIC CONTROL MODULE WAS REPLACED. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 71,079.

THE KEY CANNOT TURN PAST THE AUX POSITION & CANNOT BE REMOVED EVEN THOUGH THE CAR IS IN PARK. THE HAS BEEN SERVICED 3 TIMES FOR THIS PROBLEM AND HAS NEVER BEEN COMPLETELY FIXED. WITHIN WEEKS IT DOES IT AGAIN. DEALERS HAVE NO EXPLANATION FOR THIS PROBLEM.WHEN JAMMING THE SHIFTER FOR 1-5 MINUTES IT USUALLY RELEASES THE KEY.

THE DEALER (BAXTER CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OMAHA (17950 BURT ST, OMAHA, NE 68118, (402) 800-1230) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES AND DIAGNOSED THAT THE EMERGENCY BRAKE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED A THIRD TIME BECAUSE A PORCELAIN PIECE SURROUNDING THE CENTER ELECTRODE FRACTURED AND A PLUG CAME OUT OF A PISTON TOP ASSOCIATED WITH THE CYLINDER WALLS, WHICH DAMAGED THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER, THE TURBO, AND THE LONG BLOCK. THE DEALER REPLACED THE PARTS. THE CONTACT WAS UNCERTAIN IF THE OEM PARTS THAT WERE REPLACED CAUSED THE FAILURES BECAUSE, AFTER THE REPAIRS, THE FAILURES CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDED THAT THE VEHICLE BE TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.

NOVEMBER 2018, THE BLUETOOTH DOES NOT CONNECT, THE ODOMETER IS BLINKING CONTINUOUSLY AND THE CAR SHAKES WHEN AT A STOP.
