TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE DURANGO. WHILE IDLE AT A RED LIGHT, THE VEHICLE'S ENGINE BEGAN TO SPUTTER. WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN, THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO ACCELERATE, BUT THE ENGINE STALLED AND SHUT COMPLETELY OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON THREE PREVIOUS OCCASIONS. AT 2,845 MILES, THE WIRE HARNESS HAD A FAILED WIRE AND WAS REPAIRED. AT 2,551 MILES, THE PEDAL ASSEMBLY MODULE WAS DEFECTIVE AND THE CLUTCH WAS REPLACED. AT 6,033 MILES, THE OPEN CIRCUIT AND THE MODULE TRANSMISSION CONTROL WERE BOTH REPROGRAMMED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 25,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 2,551.
LEADING UP TO FAILURE: RAINY DAYS FAILURE: WHEN DRIVING DOWN WET CITY ROADS AND PAVEMENT IS PUDDLED, WATER IS SPLASHED ONTO THE UNDERCARRIAGE, I LOSE POWER STEERING. AT FIRST, I THOUGHT THE DURANGO HAD LOST POWER, BUT REALIZED IT WAS THE STEERING I LOST. THE STEERING BELT SCREAMS LOUDLY AFTERWARDS AS WELL. YOU HAVE NO WARNING WHEN THIS WILL HAPPEN, BUT YOU CAN EXPECT IT ON RAINY DAYS. I PERCEIVE THIS AS A PROBLEM BECAUSE IF YOU ARE TURNING OUT ONTO A BUSY STREET, THEN LOSE YOUR POWER STEERING, IT POSES A DANGER TO MYSELF AND OTHER MOTORISTS. WE ALL KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO STEER WITHOUT POWER STEERING. WHEN WE PHONED THE MAINTENANCE SHOP WHERE WE BOUGHT IT, THEY WERE NOT CONCERNED, QUICKLY DISMISSED ME AND TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD HAVE TO DO IT FOR THEM AS WELL, OTHERWISE THERE WAS NOTHING THAT COULD BE DONE. WE HAVE SINCE DITCHED THE DURANGO AND BOUGHT A DIFFERENT VEHICLE FROM A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP. I AM PICKING A RANDOM DATE FOR THE INCIDENT DATE, SINCE THIS HAPPENS ANYTIME IT RAINS. FOR NUMBER OF FAILURES - IT'S ANY TIME IT RAINS AND THE BELT GETS WET. THEY SHOULD PROTECT THE BELT BETTER SOMEHOW! AND THIS DURANGO WAS A 4X4 - YOU WOULD THINK IT COULD HANDLE ANYTHING, ON-ROAD OR OFF-ROAD! *JB
WHILE MOVING FORWARD AT 5 MPH. COLD ENGINE AND ENGINE STALLED. STARTED WHEN TRIED 4 HOURS LATER.*AK
MY 2005 DODGE DURANGO STALLS WHILE DRIVING & THE STEERING WHEEL WILL LOCK IN POSITION. THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED (APPROX AUG, 2006), I WAS TURNING INTO A SHOPPING CENTER & ALMOST HIT A CAR COMING OUT OF THE SHOPPING CENTER B/C MY TRUCK STALLED & THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED & WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO TURN IN ANY DIRECTION ANYMORE! THE SECOND TIME THIS HAPPENED (JUST THIS WEEK, APRIL 2007), I HAD JUST BACKED OUT OF A PARKING SPOT, PUT IT IN DRIVE & STARTED TO GO FORWARD WHILE TURNING (BOTH TIMES THIS HAPPENED I WAS TURNING TO THE RIGHT) ... I MOVED FORWARD SLIGHTLY & THEN IT STALLED OUT ... AGAIN, THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP. WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLS, EVERYTHING SHUTS OFF ... ALL ELECTRONICS, EVERYTHING ... AND THE STEERING WHEEL WILL LOCK IN PLACE. THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP WANTS ME TO PAY $100! JUST TO TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG, IF THEY CAN FIND ANYTHING ON THE TRUCKS COMPUTER! I PURCHASED THE TRUCK IN FEB, 2006 IN PITTSBURGH, PA. I DROVE IT DOWN TO KEY WEST & HAD A PROBLEM WITH AN OIL SENSOR DURING THE TRIP. MY BIGGEST CONCERN IS THE FACT THAT WHEN IT STALLS, EVERYTHING TURNS OFF & THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKS UP. I HAVE TO HOPE OTHER DRIVERS ARE AS CAUTIOUS AS I AM & THAT MY BRAKES DON'T FAIL ON ME TOO! *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE DURANGO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER FILLING THE FUEL TANK WITH THE NOZZLE STILL INSIDE, FUEL WOULD SPILL BACK OUT THE TANK. HE NOTICED THE FAILURE EVERY TIME HE FILLED THE VEHICLE WITH FUEL. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN INSPECTED OR REPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO STATED THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN RECALL 05V034000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE: STORAGE: TANK ASSEMBLY: FILLER PIPE AND CAP) OR RECALL 09V003000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE: STORAGE: TANK ASSEMBLY). TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE DURANGO. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE ADDING GASOLINE TO THE FUEL TANK IT WOULD SPILL ONTO THE VEHICLE AS IF THE TANK WAS FULL. THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DISPLAYED THAT THE TANK WAS FULL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THEY NEEDED TO REPLACE THE FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT HIS VIN NUMBER WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 09V003000, FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE: STORAGE : TANK ASSEMBLY AND THEY WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 115,000. ....UPDATED 06/18/12 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. THE DEALER STATED THE VALVE VENT SENSOR DEFECTIVE, BUT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. UPDATED 06/20/12
WINDSHIELD WIPER DRIVE ARM FROM WIPER MOTOR ARMATURE TO DRIVER'S WIPER BROKE, CAUSING DRIVER'S WIPER TO FAIL AND SIMULTANEOUSLY JAM PASSENGER WIPER WHILE SCHOOL BUS WAS STOPPING IN FRONT OF VEHICLE. MY 20 MONTH OLD DODGE DURANGO WAS BEING DRIVEN HOME FROM SCHOOL BY MY DAUGHTER. THIS ENTIRE WIPER PIVOT ARM ASSEMBLY IS A TERRIBLE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION. IT IS FAILURE BY DESIGN. I HAVE THE FAILED PART AND ASSEMBLY AND CAN SHIP IT TO YOU IF YOU TO HAVE ENGINEERS INSPECT. *AK
VEHICLE STALLED IN TRAFFIC WHILE MAKING A RIGHT HAND TURN. NO WARNING JUST DIED.*AK
TL*- THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE DURANGO. THE CONTACT NOTICED THE OVERHEAD LIGHTS ILLUMINATED UPON ENTERING THE VEHICLE. WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH THREE LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL, AND THEN NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM BEHIND THE STEERING WHEEL. ALSO, THE CONTACT NOTICED FIRE COMING FROM UNDERNEATH THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE FIRE DESTROYED THE VEHICLE. THE INSURANCE INVESTIGATOR INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE FIRE STARTED IN THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THERE WAS RECALL 07V092000 REGARDING THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE 60, 000.*AK
MY 2005 DURANGO HAD THE AIRBAG LIGHT GO ON 4 TIMES NOW. EACH TIME IT HAS BEEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER'S SERVICE DEPARTMENT, AND THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM, BUT GAVE IT 4 TO 5 MONTHS FOR THE LIGHT TO COMESON AGAIN, SAME THING WAS FIXED AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN 4 TO 5 MONTHS LATER, THISWAS A SAFETY ISSUE WHEN IT CAME TO THE AIRBAG. I TRAVELED WITH AN INFANT IN THIS CAR ,AND I WONDERED IF MY AIRBAG WILL GO OFF WHILE I'M DRIVING OR IF I WAS TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT WILL IT DEPLOY???? RIGHT NOW THE CARD IS AT THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN FOR THE SAME PROBLEM I AM TO THE POINT I DID NOT FEE SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR. *AK
TRANSMISSION SHIFTS HARD AFTER DECELERATION THEN ACCELERATION. NOTICEABLE "CLUNK" WHEN ACCELERATING. SOMETIMES WILL SLIP OUT OF GEAR WHEN GOING FROM REVERSE TO DRIVE. *JB
CLICKING NOISE UNDER HOOD, WAS TOLD BY DODGE DEALERSHIP THAT IT HAD TO DO WITH THE EXHAUST OR EXHAUST MANIFOLD. WAS TOLD AT TWO DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS THAT IT COULD NOT BE REPAIRED. ACCORDING TO SEARCHES, IT SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE. NOISE GETS LOUDER THE MORE YOU ACCELERATE. *TR
WHILE DRIVING MY 2005 DODGE DURANGO, THE RADIO SHUTS OFF, THE RPM'S GO TO ZERO (AS IF THE VEHICLE HAS LOST ALL POWER AND SHUTTING OFF), AND ALL OF THE GAUGES ON THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER GO CRAZY. PRIOR TO THIS HAPPENING THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE SHOP BECAUSE OF THE ABS & BRAKE LIGHT KEPT COMING ON, AND A CONSTANT DINGING NOISE (LIKE THE SOUND WHEN A CAR DOOR IS LEFT OPEN WITH THE KEY IN THE IGNITION) WE WERE TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG AND THAT OUR KEY CHAIN WAS TO HEAVY. *NM
TL*- PLEASE REFER TO NHTSA ACTION NUMBER : EA05018 .THE CONTACT PURCHASED A 2005 DODGE DURANGO ON OR ABOUT MARCH 2005 WITH AN ODOMETER READING OF 10 MILES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ON FEBRUARY 15, 2007 A FIRE BEGAN ON THE VEHICLE'S DASHBOARD. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN EARLY IN THE MORNING, THEN PARKED FOR 2 HOURS. THE CONTACT WENT OUT A SECOND TIME, AND THAT WASWHEN THE FIRE WAS NOTICED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO DON WEIRS RENO DODGE ON FEBRUARY 16, 2007. AN INVESTIGATOR FROM DODGE WAS ASK TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS STORED AT THE DEALER FROM FEBRUARY 16, 2007 TO THE PRESENT. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE INVESTIGATOR ON FEBRUARY 20, 2007 REGARDING THE FIRE. A REPRESENTATIVE FROM DAIMLER CHRYSLER CALLED ON FEBRUARY 26,2007 WHO SAID THAT IT WAS NOT AN AFTERMARKET DEFECT, BUT A MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND WOULD BE COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. THE CONTACT WAS FAXED A LETTER FROM DAIMLER CHRYSLER, IN WHICH DAIMLER CHRYSLER AGREED COVER THE COST OF THE REPAIRS TO THE VEHICLE IF THE CONTACT AGREED TO NOT TO PURSUE THIS MATTER IN COURT AFTER REPAIRS WERE DONE, AND TO EXCLUDE DAIMLER CHRYSLER OF ANY ADDITIONAL LIABILITY. THE CONTACT FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST DAIMLER CHRYSLER BECAUSE OF THIS LETTER. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE BOTH 35,000.*AK
WE PURCHASED A USED 2005 DODGE DURANGO IN JANUARY OF THIS YEAR. WE WERE DRIVING ONE DAY A FEW WEEKS AFTER WE PURCHASED IT AND NOTICED THAT THE INTERIOR LIGHTS DID NOT GO OUT AFTER THE DOORS WERE CLOSED. I THINK THERE IS A TYPE OF "SWITCH" WHICH SHUTS OFF THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS IN THE VEHICLE AFTER (I BELIEVE) 15 MINUTES, SO EACH TIME WE SHUT OFF THE VEHICLE THE LIGHTS STAYED ON A FEW MINUTES. AFTER ABOUT 4 DAYS OF THIS, I STARTED THE VEHICLE UP ONE DAY AND IT DID NOT START. WE HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED AND WERE TOLD THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER HAD TO BE REPLACED. IT TOOK A FEW DAYS TO HAVE THE WORK DONE SINCE THE SERVICE CENTER SAID THEY DO NOT TYPICALLY KEEP THE PARTS IN STOCK FOR A 2005 SINCE IT IS NOT A PROBLEM GENERALLY SEEN ON A NEWER VEHICLE. WHAT I HAVE READ ONLINE WITH THE RECENT RECALL WAS "THE COMPANY SAID IF DRIVERS NOTICE PROBLEMS WITH THE INTERIOR LIGHTS, THEY SHOULD TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO A DEALER FOR INSPECTION. IN SOME CASES, THE INTERIOR LIGHTS WILL NOT PROPERLY DIM AFTER THE DOORS ARE CLOSED." WELL, THAT IS EXACTLY THE PROBLEM WE HAVE, BUT OUR VEHICLE IS NOT PART OF THE RECALL. *JB
2005 DODGE DURANGO WITH THE 5.7L HEMI STALLS (COMPLETELY SHUTS OFF) WHEN TURNING LEFT OR RIGHT. THIS HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES AND IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. MY FAMILY AND I HAVE BEEN STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF 55 MPH HIGHWAYS AS WELL AS NUMEROUS INTERSECTIONS WHILE MAKING A LEFT OR RIGHT TURN. *JB

TRANSMISSION SLIPPED OUT OF GEAR IN MIDDLE OF INTERSECTION, WOULD NOT GO BACK IN GEAR. VEHICLE WAS TOWED, ACCORDING TO DEALERSHIP JUST NEEDED TRANSMISSION SERVICE. THE SERVICE WAS DONE AND VEHICLE BROKE DOWN AGAIN- SAME PROBLEM- TWO WEEKS LATER. THIS TIME DEALER CLAIMED VEHICLE WAS LOW ON TRANSMISSION FLUID ( EVEN THOUGH SERVICE WAS DONE 2 WEEKS/ 50 MILES PRIOR) TRANSMISSION NOW SHIFTS ROUGH FROM FIRST TO SECOND AND THIRD TO FOURTH GEAR. ACCORDING TO DEALER NOTHING IS WRONG WITH TRANSMISSION. *JB
THE 2005 DURANGO STALLS DURING ACCELERATION AND AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS WITH NO WARNING, IT WILL NOT START AGAIN UNTIL VEHICLE IS COMPLETELY STOPPED EVEN IF SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL. THE ECM SETS NO CODES AND NORMALLY VEHICLE RUN FINE AND EVERYTHING CHECKS OUT OK. THIS CAN BE DANGEROUS BECAUSE SUDDENLY YOUR VEHICLE IS POWERLESS IN THE MIDDLE OF SIX LANES OF TRAFFIC AND YOUR LOOKING FOR A SAFE PLACE TO GO SO YOU CAN STOP AND START IT AGAIN. *JB
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE DURANGO. ON FEBRUARY 1, 2007, THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE HAD BEEN PARKED FOR TWO HOURS IN HIS GARAGE WHEN HIS HOUSE BEGAN FILLING UP WITH SMOKE. HE WENT TO HIS GARAGE AND FOUND BOTH HIS VEHICLE AND GARAGE IN FLAMES. THE GARAGE BURNED DOWN AND THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE CONTACT HAS PICTURES AND CAN GET A FIRE REPORT. THE MANUFACTURER SENT AN INVESTIGATOR TO TAKE PICTURES. AFTERWARDS, THEY INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE BECAUSE A DEFECT WAS NOT THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE. ON MAY 14, 2007, THE CONTACT RECEIVED SAFETY RECALL NOTICE # 07V092000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT PANEL). THE PURCHASE DATE AND ENGINE SIZE WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 26,000. UPDATED 07/06/07. *JB
I HAVE A 2005 DODGE DURANGO 4.7L AND WHEN FILLING THE GAS TANK THE GAS SPLASHES OUT WHEN THE PUMP SHUTS OFF. EVEN WHEN PUMPING SLOWLY IT STILL COMES OUT OF THE FILLER NECK AND ONTO THE GROUND. IF PUMPING FASTER IT TENDS TO SHOOT UP AND OUT. THIS IS A HAZARD AND NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP.THERE IS A RECALL OUT FOR THIS PROBLEM ON THE 2005 DURANGO BUT MINE IS NOT ONE OF THE VIN NUMBERS THAT QUALIFIES. THE DEALER SAYS THE ENTIRE GAS TANK NEEDS TO BE REPLACED DUE TO THE CHECK VALVE GETTING STUCK AND NOT CLOSING PROPERLY. I HAVE READ SEVERAL FORUM SITES WHERE OTHER PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME ISSUE AND CHRYSLER IS NOT REPLACING THOSE PARTS. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE DURANGO. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 65 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 55,000.

SINCE I PURCHASED IN 2006, VEHICLE HAS INTERMITTENTLY STOPPED RUNNING WHEN TURNING (LEFT OR RIGHT) . I CAN START IT AGAIN, BUT IT WILL CONTINUE TO DIE SEVERAL TIMES WHEN STOPPED OR TURNING. IT MAY HAPPEN SEVERAL TIMES IN ONE MONTH, OR NOTHING AT ALL FOR 6 OR 10 MONTHS, BUT CONTINUES TO DO I--4 YEARS NOW. DEALER CAN'T FIND THE CAUSE, INDEPENDENT MECHANICS CAN'T FIND THE CAUSE. WHEN ITS DOING THIS AND I'M STOPPED (IN DRIVE) RPM'S WILL BOUNCE FROM 2 TO 0 A BUNCH, THEN IT WILL DIE. AM ALSO HAVING SURGES WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STOPPED. AND IT STALLS WHEN I DRIVE THROUGH A PUDDLE. NOT A LOT OF WATER... YOUR AVERAGE PUDDLE THAT EVERY OTHER CAR GOES THROUGH FINE. POWER STEERING GOES OUT AND THE CAR STALLS... SOMETIMES IT DIES, SOMETIMES IT MAKES IT BACK TO LIFE. MY VEHICLE WAS DOING ALL OF THIS AT UNDER 20,000 MILES AND CONTINUES TO DO SO. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN REPORTED FOR YEARS NOW. THIS IS A DANGEROUS PROBLEM. MY FUEL TANK OVERFILLS EVERYTIME I FILL IT UP AT THE GAS STATION. THIS IS NO MATTER WHAT STATION OR TYPE OF PUMP. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT MY PARTICULAR VEHICLE IS NOT PART OF THE RECALL. HOWEVER I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM AS THE RECALL. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE DURANGO. WHEN THE VEHICLE REACHES 60 MPH, IT FEELS AS IF IT WILL FLIP OVER AND THE WHEELS ARE UNCONTROLLABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE DOES NOT NEED TO BE ALIGNED; HOWEVER, THEY PULL THE VEHICLE IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. THE VEHICLE ALSO CLUNKS AND CLINKS DURING ACCELERATION AND THE ENGINE LIGHT REMAINS ILLUMINATED. AFTER HESITATION, DODGE REPLACED MY O2 SENSOR AND SAID THE STALL OUT WAS NOT RELATED TO THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON, IT DIDN'T STALL WHEN THEY DROVE IT, SO THEY DID NOT CONSIDER IT A PROBLEM. DAYS LATER IT STALLED OUT & THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN. WHEN I RETURNED THE TRUCK TO DODGE, THEY GOT BACK THE SAME READ AS BEFORE AND SAID IT NEEDED A SOFTWARE UPDATE.A WEEK LATER THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON THEN THE TRUCK STALLED OUT DURING OPERATION.I TOOK IT BACK TO DODGE, THEY CONTACTED DAIMLERCHRYSLER WHO HAD THEM CHECK THE EXHAUST FOR LEAKS.A PINHOLE LEAK WAS FOUND AND SEALED & THEY RESET THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.AFTER ABOUT 200 MILES, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REAPPEARED, THE NEXT DAY IT STALLED OUT AGAIN.THEY DID MORE TESTING FOR EXHAUST LEAKS, SAID THEY FOUND ANOTHER PINHOLE LEAK AND SEALED THE ENTIRE EXHAUST.ONCE AGAIN, AFTER A COUPLE DAYS OF DRIVING, IT STALLED OUT IN MOTION, 2 DAYS LATER, IT STALLED OUT AGAIN, THEN FINALLY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME BACK ON.WHEN I RETURNED IT TO DODGE, THE SERVICE MANAGER SAID HE WOULD NOT WORK ON THE TRUCK, HE WOULD CALL DAHMLERCHRYSLER FOR THEM TO SEND A TECH OUT TO LOOK AT IT AND HE PUT ME IN ANOTHER RENTAL CAR.TWO DAYS AFTER THAT, I GOT A CALL FROM DODGE SAYING, AN UNNAMED SOURCE TOLD THEM THEY SHOULD RIG THE LINES TO BLOCK AIRFLOW TO THE FUEL LINE BY PUTTING PIPING INSIDE THE EXISTING LINES TO STOP THE TRUCK FROM STALLING. ALTHOUGH HE SAID, "BUT IF YOU TELL ANYONE I TOLD YOU TO DO THIS, I WILL DENY EVER TELLING YOU TO DO IT!"
