Seatbelt will not unlatch
I have 5 recalls but have been told by the dealer that because my vehicle is a re-constructed title that recalls cannot be done. Is this true?
Delearship claims they repaired three recalls on vehicle... but they did not!!
I called the dealership to see what do I need to do for my recall they told me to bring my car in. I brought my car in and they said that I need a appointment to bring it back on 7/25/2023. I brought it back on 7/25/23 and they kept it until 7/28/23 told be that they need to order parts. They have not contacted me. I would like to file a complaint All Star Dodge in Denham Springs, Louisiana 225-523-3652. Please let me know what I need to do. There was not an incident, thankfully. However, I was billed for recalls to be complete, but they were not actually completed. I have attached the receipt showing where the service department claimed they completed the recalls but Jeep Corporate states the recalls have NOT been completed and are still open recalls. This service department has been dishonest about several other issues as well.
TOOK MY JEEP INTO A DEALERSHIP TO FIX MY AIRBAG. THEY FIXED IT AND IT WAS DOING FINE FOR ABOUT 2YEARS AND NOW TH AIRBAG LIGHT KEEPS ON TURNING ON AND OFF I KNOW THERE HAS BEEN A RECALL ON IT. SO WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THAT. THANKS
I HAVE A CURRENT RECALL FOR A DEFECTIVE AIRBAG IN MY 2007 JEEP WRANGLER. THE AIRBAG IS CURRENTLY NOT OPERATIONAL. EVERY 1-2 MINUTES WHILE DRIVE THE AIRBAG LIGHT WILL COME ON AND DING. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND IT MAKES THE VEHICLE INCREDIBLY ANNOYING TO DRIVE. A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP DIAGNOSED THE ERROR CODES AND THEY SAID THE PROBLEM IS RELATED TO THE FOLLOWING RECALL AND I SHOULD TAKE IT TO A DEALER TO BE FIXED. MANUFACTURER RECALL NUMBER: S33 NHTSA RECALL NUMBER: 16V-290 I WAITED FOR THE FIRST AVAILABLE APPOINTMENT AND TOOK MY VEHICLE TO AUTONATION ARAPAHOE JEEP IN CENTENNIAL, COLORADO TODAY. THEY SAID IT WILL BE A YEAR AND A HALF OR MORE BEFORE THE PART IS IN STOCK. THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FIX THE ISSUE UNTIL THEN. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE TO HAVE THE MANUFACTURER ACKNOWLEDGE A DEFECTIVE AIRBAG AND I HAVE TO WAIT A YEAR AND A HALF TO GET IT FIXED. SADLY, I DON'T KNOW WHAT RECOURSE I HAVE TO GET IT FIXED. ASIDE FROM PAYING $500 OUT OF POCKET TO HAVE THE LOCAL AUTO REPAIR SHOP FIX IT. WHICH IS WHAT THEY QUOTED ME FOR. AND SAID THEY COULD THE PART IN STOCK TO REPAIR IN 2 DAYS.
UNABLE TO GET VEHICLE IN FOR AIRBAG RECALL. AUTOMATION CHRYSLER JEEP JUST TRANSFERRED ME AROUND AND I GAVE UP. MEDVED IS MORE THAN 2 WEEKS OUT AND YOU HAVE TO LEAVE IT ALL DAY. WHAT IS THE POINT OF A SAFETY RECALL IF THE DEALERSHIPS WILL NOT DO IT.
MY AIRBAG LIGHT WONT TURN OFF NOR WILL MY ESP BAS LIGHT OR TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT.
I HAVE BROUGHT AND CALLED THE DEALER ABOUT THE PART THEY NEED TO REPAIR THE AIR BAG CLOCK SPRING IN MY JEEP. THEY CONTINUALLY TELL ME THAT FIAT-CHRYSLER HAS NOT RELEASED THE PART. THIS RECALL HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS NOW AND THEY HAVE NOT REPAIRED IT YET ! THIS IS MY SECOND REQUEST FOR HELP THE SRS SYSTEM LIGHT STARTS TO FLASH AT TIMES.
AIRBAG LIGHT COME ON FOR 2-3 SECONDS AND TURN OFF FOR 5 SECOND TO 1 MINUTES AND COME BACK ON. NOW LIGHT IS PERMANENTLY ON. THIS COULD BE RELATED TO THE TAKATA RECALL BUT MY VEHICLE IS NOT INCLUDED.
ON 2/22/19 THIS VEHICLE WAS TOTALED IN AN ACCIDENT. IT IMPACTED ANOTHER CAR, IT'S FRONT TO THE OTHER VEHICLE'S REAR... ON THE HIGHWAY, FLIPPED 4 TIMES, AND IMPACTED A TELEPHONE POLE. NO AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. THIS VEHICLE HAD AN AIRBAG RECALL, AND WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP AND ALLEGEDLY CORRECTED WITHIN THE LAST FEW MONTHS. *DT PICTURES ATTACHED*JB
WAS INVOLVED IN COLLISION AT 35-45 MPH WHERE DRIVER AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY RESULTING IN SERIOUS INJURY TO DRIVER. THIS VEHICLE WAS I'M FORWARD MOTION ON A RURAL STREET. WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY NOTICES OF AIRBAG DRIVER SIDE RECALLS

TAKADA RECALL. I RECENTLY HAD MY RECALLED DEFECTIVE TAKADA AIR BAG REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY AT ANTWERPEN JEEP IN CATONSVILLE MD. AFTER REPLACING THE AIR BAG, I WAS INFORMED THAT THE AIR BAG LIGHT WAS STILL ON IN MY VEHICLE. THEY TOLD ME THEY COULD DIAGNOSE THE LIGHT FOR $135.00. I REFUSED TO PAY THIS BECAUSE THEY HAD PREVIOUSLY REPLACED THE CLOCK SPRING UNDER WARRANTY AND I INFORMED THEM OF MY AIR BAG LIGHT PROBLEM THEN. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $200.00 AT THAT TIME TO DIAGNOSE THE SYSTEM THAT THEY HAD JUST WORKED ON. I NOW FEEL THAT I CANNOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP TO WORK MY VEHICLE FOR THESE SAFETY ISSUES. THIS JEEP HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT AND ONLY HAS 80,000 MILES. PLEASE HELP ME RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM I HAVE HAD SINCE I BOUGHT THIS JEEP NEW IN DECEMBER OF 2006 FROM ANTWERPEN JEEP OF CATONSVILLE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 JEEP WRANGLER 2-DR 4X4. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V352000 (AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT CALLED A DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE RECALL REMEDY PARTS WERE ON BACKORDER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE, BUT DID NOT OFFER ASSISTANCE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR WAS ILLUMINATED AND A TICKING NOISE COULD BE HEARD COMING FROM THE DASHBOARD. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
TAKATA RECALL. ENOUGH, IT HAS BEEN IN EXCESS OF ALMOST A YEAR THAT THE RECALL WAS FIRST ISSUED. TAKATA AT THIS STAGE SHOULD REPLACE MY VEHICLE SINCE THE THREAT OF USING THE VEHICLE WITH THE RECALL IS DANGEROUS TO ANY PASSENGER. I AM TIRED OF HAVING TO USE MY OTHER VEHICLES TO AS TO AVOID PASSENGERS IN THE FRONT. EITHER REPLACE THE VEHICLE AT NO CHARGE OR ISSUE A DIRECTIVE TO HAVE THE AIRBAG SYSTEM REMOVED IN ITS ENTIRETY BY A LOCAL DEALER. *TR
TAKATA RECALL WAS ISSUED MAY 26TH 2016 AND I TALKED TO JEEP TODAY AND THERE IS NO SOLUTION TO THIS RECALL.
TAKATA RECALL. RECEIVED A NOTICE FOR PASSENGER AIRBAG INFLATOR THAT IF DEPLOYED COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. CALLED DEALER TO GET REPAIRED AND WAS TOLD PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE YET FOR THAT RECALL. TEN MONTHS WENT BY WITH PARTS NOT AVAILABLE ALL THE WHILE PUTTING ME AND MY FAMILY AT RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
TAKATA RECALL: I HAVE RECEIVED THREE NOTICES FROM FCA ABOUT THE CRITICAL NEED TO HAVE MY VEHICLE REPAIRED, AND YET FOR SIX MONTHS NOW, THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PART AVAILABLE. CAN YOU PLEASE COMPEL THEM TO DELIVER THE PART TO A DEALER NEAR ME (IN GLENDALE CALIFORNIA) SO THAT I CAN RESOLVE THIS MATTER QUICKLY. MY FORMAL COMPLAINT TO THEM IS ATTACHED. I HAVE REPEATEDLY REACHED OUT TO THEIR DEALERS WHO CLAIM THAT THEY ARE AT THE MERCY OF THE FACTORY TO SUPPLY THE PARTS NEEDED. YOUR INTERVENTION WOULD BE APPRECIATED SINCE THEY DO NOT RESPECT OR RESPOND TO ME. I HAVE HAD NO INCIDENTS OTHER THAN THE REPETITIVE WARNING LETTERS FROM THE FACTORY, AND THEIR NOT BEING ABLE TO RESOLVE THE MATTER DESPITE THEIR TELLING ME THAT THE FAILURE TO ADDRESS THIS MATTER IMMEDIATELY MIGHT RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
