CAR WON'T START WHEN KEY IS IN THE IGNITION THEN A FEW MINUTES LATER IT WILL START. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE ABS WOULD ENGAGE ABNORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE TWO FRONT SENSOR HUBS WERE DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP WHO STATED THAT IT WAS PROBABLY AN ELECTRICAL SHORT COMING FROM THE ABS COMPUTER AND SENSOR THAT WAS CONNECTED TO THE WHEELS, AND WAS CAUSING THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO REFERRED HIM BACK TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE 84,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 94,000.
LEFT FRONT PASSENGER WINDOW WENT DOWN WITH OUT ANY WARNING AND DID NOT COME BACK UP, ANOTHER PIECE OF CRAP AND ANOTHER IDIOTIC PIECE OF ENGINEERING BY THE PONTIAC ENGINEERING DEPT. BROKEN CABLE ON THE POWER WINDOW SYSTEM LEADING TO TOTAL FAILURE AND HAVING TO REPLACE THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY. *TR
DRIVING 70 MPH ON THE FREEWAY. (PHOENIX TEMP. WAS IN THE LOW 70'S) LOST ALL ELECTRICAL POWER EXCEPT THE ENGINE. ENTIRE DASH, GAS, SPEED, OIL GAGE, TACH WENT TO 0. LOST HEAD LIGHTS, TURN SIGNALS. I DID NOT HAVE THE CRUISE ON AT ANY OF THESE TIMES, LIGHTS WERE ON AUTO. THIS LASTED FOR ABOUT 2 MIN, 5 MIN LATER IT HAPPENED AGAIN. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE GM DEALERSHIP, THEY KEPT IT FOR 5 DAYS, THEIR REPORT SAID THAT THEY FOUND NOTHING. ON JANUARY 26TH, IT HAPPENED AGAIN, LASTING 5 MIN. JANUARY 27TH, THE SAME. THE MOST RECENT FEBRUARY 14TH, 3 TIMES LAST 7 -8 MIN. ALL TIMES, LOST ALL ELECTRICAL POWER AND THE ENGINE CONTINUED TO RUN. MY CONCERN IS A POSSIBLE FIRE. CHECK THE INTERNET: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 2004 GRAND PRIX, THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE OUT THERE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AND I CAN'T FIND A GM MECHANIC TO FIX THE PROBLEM. *TR
MY CAR HAD OVER $5800 DAMAGE TO THE FRONT END YET THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY.
WHILE PARKED AND ADDING ENGINE OIL, OIL AND ENGINE CAUGHT ON FIRE.
TL*-THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35-40 MPH WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS ENGAGED BUT THERE WAS NO POWER RESPONSE. THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESUME FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE MINUTES BEFORE THE FAILURE OCCURRED AGAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE TRANSMISSION WAS FLUSHED. THE FAILURE CONTINUED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THEY INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THERE WAS A RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 05V046000 (VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL: ACCELERATOR PEDAL); HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. THE CONTACT WAS TRAVELING 35 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THE SPARK PLUGS, THE PLASTIC GUARD ATOP THE ENGINE AND THE FILLER TUBE TO ADD ENGINE OIL WERE ALL BURNED AND MELTED TOGETHER. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED BY A LOCAL MECHANIC THAT THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE FAILURE ON THE 2003 MODEL YEAR PONTIAC GRAND PRIX BUT NOT THE 2004 MODEL (NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 09V116000- ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

HEADS UP DISPLAY ON 2004 GRAND PRIX FAILED DUE TO CONTROL SPRING BECOMING FREE DUE TO PREMATURE PART FAILURE OF THE PLASTIC ARM. THIS LEAVE A BLACKISH/GRAYISH SQUARE ON THE WINDSHIELD WHERE CREATES A DRIVING NUISANCE- WHERE THE HUD SHOULD BE. THIS PART FAILURE IS MENTIONED NUMEROUS TIMES ON THE INTERNET, THUS LEAVING THE OWNERS WITH A $600-700 REPAIR IN WHICH THERE ISN'T A NEW PART BUT INSTEAD A REBUILT ONE PUT IN. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. APPROXIMATELY A YEAR AFTER THE REPAIR THE FAILURE RECURRED A SECOND TIME. THE POWER STEERING PUMP WAS COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY AND WAS REPLACED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED A THIRD TIME. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 69,933.

AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM AND SERVICE DEALERS HAVE ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM. I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE REGARDING RECALL FOR POWER STEERING FAILURE ON MY PONTIAC ON MARCH 3, 2010. ON MARCH 5, THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT ON MY VEHICLE. GM IS NOW STATING THAT MY VEHICLE IS NOT COVERED IN THIS RECALL THAT IT IS 2005 AND LATER. MINE GRAND PRIX IS 2004. *TR
I OWN A 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX THAT I PURCHASED BRAND NEW. THIS MORNING, I FOUND MY CAR WITH IT'S INTERIOR BURNED OUT. A FIRE STARTED UNDER MY SEAT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE AT THE ELECTRIC SEAT WIRING HARNESS BOX. MY CONCERN IS PONTIAC CUSTOMER SERVICE WANTS ME TO WAIT 2 DAYS, OR UNTIL NEXT TUESDAY BECAUSE IT IS A FRIDAY, FOR A RETURN PHONE CALL. MY LIFE DOES NOT STOP BECAUSE PONTIAC FEELS MY PROBLEM IS NOT WORTHY OF A QUICK SOLUTION EVEN THOUGH I AM SURE THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF PONTIAC GRAND PRIXS SITTING UNDER GARAGES THAT COULD CATCH ON FIRE JUST AS MINE DID AND POSSIBLE DESTROY HOMES OR LIVES. THE FIREMEN SAID THE FIRE WAS SO HOT THAT IT MELTED THE STEERING COLUMN AND MELTED OUT THE TOP INTERIOR AND THE FRAME AROUND THE SUNROOF. THEY TOLD ME I WAS FORTUNATE BECAUSE IF ANY OXYGEN WOULD HAVE GOTTEN INTO THE CAR IT WOULD HAVE COMPLETED BURNED THE CAR TO THE GROUND DESTROYING TWO OTHER VEHICLES AND A GARAGE. PONTIAC MAY NOT CONSIDER THIS A PRESSING MATTER BUT I DO. THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS SEAT THAT PONTIAC, OR IT'S OWNERS, NEEDS TO DEAL WITH NOW BEFORE SOMEONE IS LESS FORTUNATE THAN I AND LOOSES A LIFE OR A CHILD'S LIFE. IF THIS HAPPENED TO ME, IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE WITH THIS CAR. I KNOW THIS FIRE WAS CAUSED BY A SHORT IN THE WIRING OF MY SEAT, I KNOW THIS SEAT MAY NEED RECALLED AND PONTIAC PUSHES ME OFF LIKE I HAVE A FLAT TIRE. *TR

THE FIRE BURNED THE ENTIRE INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD A TEN MINUTE POWER DOWN BUT EVEN AFTER THE FIRE WAS EXTINGUISHED, THERE WAS STILL POWER MOVING TO THE WIRES UNDER THE SEAT. THE MANUFACTURER OFFERED TO PURCHASE THE VEHICLE FROM THE CONTACT. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 113,000.
THE CHROME PLATING ON THE RIMS OF MY 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GTP IS CORRODING. UPON MY ONLINE RESEARCH, THERE ARE MAY OTHER PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THESE WHEELS. THIS CORROSION IS CAUSING THE RIMS TO CONSTANTLY LOSE AIR LEADING TO UNSAFE DRIVING SITUATIONS WHICH COULD LEAD TO A CRASH. *TR
I HAVE 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX WITH A 3800 SERIES 3 ENGINE. I HAD TO GET MY INTAKE GASKETS AND MY VALVE COVERS REPLACED. IVE BEEN TOLD THAT THIS A IS A COMMON ISSUE REGARDING THIS ENGINE SO I WANTED TO REPORT IT. MAYBE IT WILL BE A RECALL SOMEDAY LIKE THE 2003 AND OLDER MODELS. THIS COULD HAVE POTENTIALLY BEEN A SERIOUS FIRE AND IS A SERIOUS FIRE ISSUE.
SIGNIFICANT BRAKE CALIPER FLUID LEAK ON REAR DRIVER SIDE CALIPER. A NEW CALIPER WAS INSTALLED TO STOP FLUID LEAK. THIS WAS A PREVIOUSLY RECALLED ITEM FOR THE 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. MILEAGE WAS APPROX. 38,000 WHEN LEAK FIRST DETECTED. *TR
TL-*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING OUT OF THE PARKING LOT AT APPROXIMATELY 2MPH AND THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD NOT TURN TO THE LEFT. THE WEATHER WAS SUNNY AND COLD, AND WAS NOT A FACTOR IN THE VEHICLE DEFECT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTICS AND TESTING. THE DEALER REPLACED THE POWER STEERING IN THE VEHICLE. THE POWER STEERING FAILED AGAIN DAYS AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BY THE DEALER. THE DEALER REPLACED THE POWER STEERING AGAIN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN OPERATING FINE SINCE DECEMBER 28, 2009. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000. THE APPROXIMATE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 62,000.
WHEN IT RAINS THE FLOOR BOARD IN THE FRONT AND BACK ON THE PASSENGER SIDE GETS SOAKED. I CAN NOT FIGURE OUT WHERE IT IS COMING FROM AS THE CEILING IS NOT WET. IT ONLY OCCURS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. IT IS NOT JUST DAMP BUT COMPLETELY SOAKED WITH SOME STANDING WATER. *TR
MY BROTHER WAS INVOLVED IN A VERY SERIOUS CAR ACCIDENT WITH MY CAR IN WHICH HE HIT ONE SIDE OF THE WALL AND THEN BOUNCED OFF AND HIT ANOTHER SIDE OF THE WALL ALL WITH THE AIRBAGS NOT DEPLOYING. THE CAR DAMAGE MAKES THE CAR APPEAR AS IF THERE WAS NO AIRBAG IN THE CAR BECAUSE THE WHOLE FRONT DASH WAS MOVED AND ON THE PASSENGER SIDE THERE IS A DENT IN THE DASH, APPEARING LIKE THERE WAS NO AIRBAG IN THE CAR. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH GM REGARDING THE ISSUE HOWEVER THEY HAVE NOT BEEN HELPFUL AND WILL NOT PROVIDE ME ADEQUATE INFORMATION. *TR
WHEN ONSTAR SERVICE IS DISABLED CAUSES THE THROTTLE MODULE TO REDUCE POWER TO THE ENGINE. IT LASTS FOR A FEW MINUTES THEN NORMAL POWER IS RESTORED. *TR
THE HEAD LIGHTS FADE OUT WHERE YOU CAN NOT SEE ANYMORE. ITS THE OUTSIDE OF THEM. WHEN DRIVING THE LIGHTS ARE VERY DIM. *TR
AFTER A RAIN, BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR PASSENGER SIDE FLOORS ARE SOAKED WITH WATER. THE RAISED PORTION UNDER THE SEAT REMAINS DRY. THE CEILING AREA AROUND THE MOON ROOF IS COMPLETELY DRY. THE CARPETING LEADING DOWN TO THE FLOOR (CONSOLE COVERING, AREA BELOW THE DOORS, AREA UNDER THE DASH) ARE ALL DRY. ONLY THE LOWEST PORTION OF THE FLOOR IS WET, AND IT IS COMPLETELY SOAKED. IT LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THE WATER ENTERS FROM EITHER AT THE BASE OF THE WINDSHIELD WHERE THE PLASTIC COWL IS SEPARATED FROM THE GLASS, OR IN THE ROOF-BODY SEAM ON TOP OF THE ROOF WHERE THE FORWARD EDGE OF THE ROOF MEETS THE TOP OF THE DOOR JAM. I HAVE NOT TAKEN IT INTO THE DEALER YET, BUT PLAN TO. IN THE MEANTIME, I SHOP-VAC'D THE WATER OUT AS BEST I COULD AND KEEP IT IN THE GARAGE. I'M CONCERNED BECAUSE THERE ARE ELECTRICAL CABLES UNDER THE FRONT CARPET AND THEY ARE WET. *TR

THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER REGARDING THE RECALL AND THE MANUFACTURER STATED DUE TO THE VIN THE VEHICLE WAS NOT A PART OF THE RECALL. THE CONTACT STATED THE CLICKING NOISE HAD BECOME LOUDER AND MORE CONSISTENT. THE CONTACT MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO TAKE THE VEHICLE THE DEALER. THE FAILURE WAS 130,000.

ON JULY 7 2009 I WAS DRIVING MY 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GTP. THROUGH OUT THE DAY THE CAR SEEM FINE, I EVEN WASHED IT. I TOOK MY FRIEND HOME AND CAME DIRECTLY RIGHT BACK HOME. A LITTLE WHILE AFTER FLAMES WERE COMING FROM UNDER MY HOOD. I IMMEDIATELY CALL 91 AND ABOUT 10 MINUTES LATER THEY CAME AND PUT IT OUT. *TR

THE DEALER STATED THAT THE RACK AND PINION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. IN ADDITION, DURING RAINY WEATHER, WATER FLOODED THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,206.
THE FRONT AND BACK FLOOR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE STAYS WET ALL THE TIME. WE HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND OUT WHERE EXACTLY IT IS COMING FROM. WHEN IT RAINS IT WILL PUDDLE EVEN WORSE. THE CARPET IS GETTING SO WET THAT IT IS GOING TO ROTTEN IF THE PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED. *TR
PASSENGER CABIN BLOWER MOTOR INOPERATIVE OR INTERMITTENT, BLOWER SPEED MAY DROP OR BLOWER CONTINUES TO RUN AFTER KEY OFF. I FEEL THIS MAY LEAD TO A FIRE. OTHERS MAY COMMENT THAT THE BLOWER MOTOR SPEED MAY MOMENTARILY DROP OR THAT THE BLOWER MOTOR CONTINUES TO RUN AFTER THE KEY IS TURNED OFF CAUSE THIS CONDITION MAY BE CAUSED BY A VOLTAGE SPIKE FROM THE WIPER MOTOR. THE VOLTAGE SPIKE MAY CAUSE A LOGIC LOCK UP IN THE BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL MODULE THAT MAY BE EITHER MOMENTARY OR PENNANENT. TECHNICIANS ARE TO INSTALL A CAPACITOR, PIN 25073556, AT THE BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL MODULE CONNECTOR USING THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE: I. DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE CABLE FROM THE BATTERY. 2. REMOVE THE RIGHT CLOSEOUTLINSULATOR PANEL. REFER TO THE CLOSEOUTLLNSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT-RIGHT PROCEDURE IN THE INSTRUMENT PANEL, GAUGES AND CONSOLE SECTION OF SL 3. DISCONNECT THE WIRE HARNESS CONNECTOR TO THE BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL MODULE. 4. INSTALL A CAPACITOR, PIN 25073556, INTO THE BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL MODULE CONNECTOR USING THE FOLLOWING STEPS. REFER TO THE ILLUSTRATION ABOVE TO LOCATE THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE LEADS OF THE CAPACITOR. STRIP A SHORT LENGTH OF INSULATION FROM THE RED WIRE IN CAVITY C, CIRCUIT 442, OF THE BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL MODULE CONNECTOR USING A SPLICE CLIP FROM THE J-38125 TERMINAL REPAIR KIT, CRIMP THE POSITIVE LEAD OF THE CAPACITOR TO THE RED WIRE. STRIP A SHORT LENGTH OF INSULATION FROM THE BLACK WIRE IN CAVITY A OF THE BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL MODULE CONNECTOR THE CIRCUIT NUMBER FOR BUICK VEHICLES IS 1450 AND FOR PONTIAC VEHICLES IT IS 150. USING A SPLICE CLIP FROM THE J-38125 TERMINAL REPAIR KIT, CRIMP THE NEGATIVE LEAD OF THE CAPACITOR TO THE BLACK WIRE. WHY SHOULD CONSUMERS PAY FOR THIS DEFECT??????? *TR

I STARTED MY 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GTP ONE VERY COLD MORNING AND NOTICED A WHINING NOISE FROM UNDER THE HOOD. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE USED IN 2005 WITH ABOUT 16,000 MILES ON IT. ONCE THE CAR WARMED UP, THE WHINING NOISE WENT AWAY UNTIL I DROVE IT. I HEARD THE NOISE AGAIN WHEN THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED FROM FIRST GEAR. AT THAT TIME, THE MILEAGE WAS ABOUT 74,800. ABOUT ONE 3 DAYS LATER, I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL LUBE SHOP TO HAVE THE TRANSMISSION FLUID CHANGED. AFTER THE FLUID WAS CHANGED, I DID NOT HEAR THE WHINING SOUND AGAIN UNTIL ABOUT 2 DAYS LATER ON MY WAY HOME FOR A LUNCH BREAK. THE NEXT MORNING, I HEARD THE WHINING WHEN I STARTED THE CAR TO WARM IT UP. AFTER THE CAR WARMED FOR A WHILE, IT HESITATED TO MOVE WHEN I PUT IT INTO REVERSE TO GO TO WORK. IT ALSO HESITATED TO MOVE WHEN I PUT IT INTO DRIVE. THE MILEAGE, AT THAT POINT, WAS ABOUT 75,000 MILES. I BROUGHT IT BACK HOME AND CALLED A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP WHO ENDED UP LOOKING AT IT AND SAID THE TRANS WAS SHOT. I THEN CALLED GM ABOUT TO EXPRESS MY DISSATISFACTION AND TO ASK FOR SOME TYPE OF ASSISTANCE. THEY REFERRED ME TO A DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSIS. I TOOK IT TO SULLIVAN PONTIAC AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS A POSSIBLE PROBLEM WITH THE VALVE SEAL. THE ESTIMATED COST TO REPAIR WOULD BE 2,600. CONSIDERING I DO NOT DRIVE MY CAR UNDER HEAVY CONDITIONS AND THE RECOMMENDED TRANS SERVICE IS DUE AT 100K FOR THOSE DRIVING CONDITIONS, I DO NOT THINK THIS PROBLEM SHOULD BE OCCURRING AT THIS MILEAGE. *TR

I USUALLY HAVE TO PRESS THE GAS TO GET IT GOING. *HEADLAMPS BOUNCE *BLOWER MOTOR KEEPS BLOWING EVEN WHEN THE CAR IS SHUT OFF. AFTER RESEARCH I HAVE NOTICED THAT THESE PROBLEMS ARE ALL VERY COMMON IN THE 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. I DO NOT THINK ITS RIGHT THAT PONTIAC HAS NOT TAKEN RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS. WE BOUGHT 4 KUHMO SOLUS KR21 TIRES AND HAVE HAD TO REPLACE TWO ALREADY. WE WILL BE HEADING BACK TO THE TIRE STORE TOMORROW TO REPLACE ONE THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN REPLACED. THE TREAD WAS BEGINNING TO SEPARATE FROM EACH OF THESE TIRES. WE HAVE TAKEN THE CAR INTO THE DEALER THAT SOLD THE TIRES TO US AND THEY HAVE REPLACED THEM BUT KEEP REPLACING THEM WITH THE SAME TYPE OF TIRE AND WE WILL HAVE ONE OF THOSE REPLACED TOMORROW! *TR
THE BLOWER FOR MY HEATER WILL NOT SHUT OFF EVEN THOUGH THE KEYS ARE OUT OF THE IGNITION AND THE CAR IS SHUT OFF. *TR
WHEN BRAKING AND TURNING THE VEHICLE AT SLOW SPEEDS, IE PARKING THE CAR IN A LOT, THE ABS WILL ACTIVATE. THIS OCCURS AT LEAST HALF OF THE TIME I MAKE A SLOW RIGHT TURN, AND HAS ALSO HAPPENED A FEW TIMES WHEN TURNING LEFT. I HAVE HAD THE ABS ACTIVATE EVEN WITHOUT TOUCHING THE BRAKE PEDAL (ACCELERATING WHILE TURNING FROM AN INTERSECTION FOR EXAMPLE). DEALERSHIP HAS SAID THE PROBLEM IS IN EITHER THE ABS SENSOR OR THE WIRING HARNESS, BUT THE COMPUTER WAS NOT GENERATING ANY CODES TO SPECIFY WHICH, SO THEY ARE SO FAR REFUSING TO FIX ANYTHING. *TR

THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION AND ALSO STATED THAT IT SHOULD NOT HAVE FAILED AT THIS MILEAGE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 56,000.
