But...I am experiencing the exact same problems associated with the recall. Please tell Dodge to extend the recall to my vehicle. Thank you.
Back lite(back glass) frame cracked and leaking
2019 ram 1500 big horn rear back lite leak. Anytime it rains it pours from the frame where it has developed two cracks on either side of the power sliding window. Dealer states it needs replaced after resealing the window and the 3rd brake light. Dealer states Ram will not pay for the replacement even though there is an extended warranty for 8 years or 150k miles on the backlite. I have opened a case with customer care...all they do is mediate between you and dealer they have no access to TSB bulletins or service records. TSB bulletin located on NHSTA site states replacement. Dealer states they only reseal and that the one I can see is outdated. Dealer wrote on last service record that the backlite needs replaced. Note: there is a electronic hub located behind the seats. Also, potential mold growth as the vehicle has a persistent musty smell.

Issue with rear door not latching closed when temperatures are below freezing. When attempting to close the door it will just bounce back open. I had to use a ratchet strap to keep the door closed while driving home. Vehicle was taken back to dealership who verified the issue and replaced door latch. Issue occurred again after new latch when left in freezing temperatures. Online research shows numerous people having the same issue and it could be related to water/moisture getting inside the door and freezing in a U shape bend in the door latch cable.

1 The vehicle’s dashboard upper trim panel (leather covering and stitching) has failed. The leather is lifting and separating from the dashboard surface, and the stitching is coming undone. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. 2. The lifting and peeling leather creates a safety concern. The leather separation is present at all times and continues to lift from the dashboard. The condition becomes significantly worse during hot and humid weather, as the material expands further. This can obstruct the driver’s forward or peripheral vision, including blind spots, reducing the ability to clearly see passengers, other vehicles, or road hazards. Additionally, if the material continues to detach, loose sections could interfere with steering wheel components or dashboard controls, creating a distraction or potentially affecting safe vehicle operation. 3. Yes, the issue has been inspected and confirmed by a dealer. The dealer acknowledged the dashboard leather separation and stitching failure. Similar issues have also been reported in other vehicles of the same make and model. 4. The issue has been inspected and confirmed by an authorized dealer. It has not been inspected by police or insurance representatives. The manufacturer has not directly inspected the vehicle at this time. 5. There were no warning lamps or dashboard messages prior to this issue. The first symptom was visible lifting of the leather and loosening of the stitching on the dashboard. The condition has progressively worsened over time and becomes more pronounced during hot and humid weather, although the separation is present regardless of weather conditions.

The persistent water leakage issue in my vehicle, which has been ongoing for an extended period. Water pooling under the left rear seat, even seeping beneath the mat. This not only poses a serious inconvenience but also raises concerns about potential damage to the vehicle's interior and electronic components. Please see attached document from the dealership.
This truck has a serious safety issue that FCA is ignoring. The exhaust manifolds/bolts are faulty and leak exhaust gas into the cabin of the vehicle causing all passengers to be subjected to high levels of carbon monoxide and exhaust gases. This poses a serious safety hazard for bother drivers and passengers of all vehicles on the road. The company has been aware of the exhaust manifold issue affecting Ram trucks for years yet when this truck experienced a known problem the consumer (me) is still burdened with paying over 900 per side to get each manifold repaired and replaced. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially when both sides just fail like my truck did at the same time. I can’t sell it it’s not safe to drive. I can’t afford to fix it and it ain’t worth anything to trade in due to this known issue. Please help!!

I have contacted the FCA Recall Spoke to Delroy he said my vehicle wasn’t part of the recall, and with 23,534.5 miles it was out of base warranty, he said I have power train coverage, gave me a Case # [XXX] he told me to cancel my 7:00am appointment 10/28/2023 and wait for a correlating response so I didn’t have to pay. I explain to him my vehicle is doing exactly what the Recall has outlined. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
Failure point - Cracked back glass frame and gasket which allowed water to leak into the cab and onto the radio frequency module causing it to corrode. When raining the vehicle started on its own while I was sitting inside it. While driving to the mechanic the vehicle wouldn’t shift out of first gear. While driving multiple service systems lights came on along with service airbag system warning. The issue was confirmed by the dealership. The dealership replaced the failed parts along with the third break light for no apparent reason. There was never a mention of there being issue with it. Warning lamps were on however the lamps wouldn’t stay on due to the electrical issue.
