TAKATA RECALL IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A YEAR SINCE BEING NOTIFIED ABOUT SAFETY RECALL (7/27/16) AND NO WORD YET AS TO GETTING A REMEDY FOR THIS PROBLEM. I TRIED CALLING DEALERSHIP DIRECTLY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE HAD NO INFORMATION AND SAID TO JUST WAIT FOR AN UPDATE BY MAIL.

TAKATA RECALL, ON JULY 23, 2016 I RECEIVE A LETTER FROM TOYOTA MOTOR SALES, INC ABOUT THE TOYOTA RECALL OF THE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG INFLATOR (ZONE A) AND NO FURTHER COMUNICATIONS ARE RECEIVE SINCE. I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THE PROBLEM BEACAUSE THEY SAID THAT UNTL THE REMEDY BECOMES AVAILABLE THEY RECOMEND THAT WE DO NOT OPERATE THE VEHICLE WITH AN OCCUPANT IN THE FRONT PASSENGER. APARENTLY THEY ARE MAKING CORRECTIONS TO NEW MODELS AND I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED WITH WITH MY 2011 TOYOTA COROLLA. I AM USING THE VEHICLE DAILY IN MY HOME AREA AND IN THE HIGHWAY.
MY CAR WAS RECALL FOR THE NHTSA NO. 16V-340, WHICH MEANS IT HAS BAD AIR BAGS, I HAVE JUST FOUND ALL THESE OTHER RECALLS ON MY VEHICLE THAT I NEVER KNEW, I TOOK MY CAR DOWN TO TOYOTA, THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE THE AIRBAG INFLATORS SO THEY SAID I COULD LEAVE THE CAR THERE AND THEY WOULD GIVE ME A CAR, MY PROBLEM IS WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO WITH MY VEHICLE, IT MIGHT BE MONTHS BEFORE THEY GET THE THIS PROBLEM FIXED, NOW I FIND OUT THAT MY CAR HAS ALL THESE OTHER RECALLS AND THIS IS THE FIRST LETTER THAT I HAVE EVER RECEIVED CONCERNING THIS CAR. I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT EVERY RECALL FOR THIS CAR SO I CAN TAKE IT IN AND LET THEM DO THE WORK FOR THE PRIOR RECALLS AND JUST DO WHAT, JUST LET MY CAR SIT THERE FOR MONTHS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THEY WILL HAVE THE PASSENGER AIRBAG INFLATOR FIXED, HELP! TAKATA RECALL - NHTSA RECALL NO. 16V-340 I RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER FROM TOYOTA. I CALLED A LOCAL TOYOTA DEALER TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO REPLACE THE AFFECTED PART. THE LOCAL DEALER TELLS ME THERE IS NO RECALL ON MY VEHICLE. PLEASE ADVISE.
TAKATA INFLATORS. I HAVE NOT BEEN CALL FOR A SOLUTION. THERE REMEDY IS DO NOT OPERATE THE VEHICLE WITH AN OCCUPANT IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. I WOULD LIKE TO SOLVE THIS MATTERS SINCE I BOUGHT A CAR FOR 5 PEOPLE, NOT 4. AND TOYOTA DON'T ANT TO FIX IT BECAUSE THEY SAY THEY DON'T HAVE THE REMEDY.

TAKATA RECALL- I RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF A TAKATA AIRBAG RECALL ON MY TOYOTA COROLLA IN JULY 2016. THERE HAS BEEN NO WORD FROM TOYOTA REGARDING WHEN MY AIRBAG WILL BE EXCHANGED. I LIVE IN TEXAS WHICH IS CONSIDERED A "RED" ZONE WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES CYCLING AND HUMIDITY. TAKATA RECALL. I RECEIVED THE LETTER FROM TOYOTA IN JULY, ADVISING ME OF THE RECALL. I CALLED MY DEALER AND THEY SAID THEY HAD NOT RECEIVED THE REPLACEMENT AIRBAG FROM TOYOTA SO THEY COULD DO NOTHING. IT IS UNREASONABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE TO BE ADVISED THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE PASSENGERS IN THE CAR IN CASE THE AIRBAG SPEWS OUT METAL. I NEED MY CAR AND I SOMETIMES MUST TRANSPORT PASSENGERS. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE TO BE TOLD TO EITHER NOT DRIVE MY CAR AND TO NOT HAVE ANY PASSENGERS. TOYOTA SHOULD REPLACE THE FAULTY AIRBAG WITH ONE THAT WORKS SAFELY. MEANWHILE, AND WHILE THEY DO REPLACE THE AIRBAG, THEY SHOULD LOAN ME A CAR AT NO CHANGE UNTIL MY CAR IS SAFE TO BE IN, AND ALSO LOAN ME A CAR FREE OF CHANGE WHILE THEY REPLACE THE AIRBAG

I WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PENDING AIRBAG REPLACEMENT FOR MY CAR AROUND THE MIDDLE OF LAST YEAR (UNDATED LETTER FROM TOYOTA), BUT TO DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A FIRM DATE FOR ITS REPLACEMENT. CALLED MY DEALER, MILTON MARTIN TOYOTA IN GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA DURING THE LAST QUARTER OF LAST YEAR (2016 YR.) TO BE POSTPONED FOR THE SECOND TIME; NOW PERHAPS TO BE BY EARLY MARCH 2017!! WOULD YOU PLEASE HELP ME IN COMPLETING THE REPLACEMENT WITHOUT ANY MORE DELAYS. IT HAS BEEN VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND UNNERVING TO HAVE TO PLACE MY PASSENGERS, INCLUDING MY WIFE AND RELATIVES, ON THE BACK SEAT ALL THE TIME. MY SAFETY AS WELL AS THE TRAFFIC AROUND ME ARE IN JEOPARDY IF THE AIRBAG SUDDENLY EXPLODES. I PAID FULL PRICE FOR A RELIABLE PRODUCT TO END UP WITH AN UNSAFE AND POORLY SERVICED PRODUCT AND WITH NO FINANCIAL COMPENSATION ON TOP OF IT ALL. PLEASE HELP!!

THE DRIVER DOOR LOCK IS NOT RESPONDING TO MY KEY PAD (STATIONARY). MY RADIO AUTOMATICALLY TURNED ITSELF OFF (WHIL DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE). WHEN I RESEARCHED THE LOCK, I WAS TOLD MY CAR'S COMPUTER MAY NEED TO BE "REBOOTED". WHY DO I NEED TO "REBOOT" A COMPUTER AFTER USE FOR 4YEARS? WHY IS THE COMPUTER FAULTY. THIS IS NOT A LUXURY VEHICLE WITH SEVERAL HUNDRED COMPUTING OPTIONS. I DO NOT USE THE VEHICLE IN A INAPPROPRIATE MANNER. IF THE RADIO TURNED ITSELF OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING, I AM CONCERNED FOR A DIFFERENT PART OF THE COMPUTER MALFUNCTIONING THAT COULD COST MY LIFE.

IT'S BEEN MORE THAN 4 MONTHS THAT I CONTACTED THE DEALER TO SEE WHAT THEY COULD DO TO FIX THE AIRBAG PROBLEM WITH THE CAR. AS OF NOW, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY CALLS OR INFORMATION ON WHEN THE CAR WILL BE FIXED. I HAVE PASSENGERS IN THE CAR AND I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING WITH THEM, KNOWING THE AIR BAG COULD MALFUNCTION UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES OUT OF MY CONTROL.
