I WAS SOLD AN UNSAFE VEHICLE FOR WORK/COMUTE FAMILY. THE DEALERSHIP MISLEAD ME AND LIED TO ME ABOUT WARRANTY AND EVEN AFTER I PAID $10,0000 CASH I WAS WRONGFULLY DONE BY THIS BUSSINESS BY NO MEANS WAS THE BUSSINESS TRYING TO CONDUCT GOOD BUSSINESS WITH ME AND I ALSO HAVE A DISSABILITY AND A CHILD WITH A DISABILITY. Incident Date: 5/9/2024 Description: I PURCHASED A 2006 GMC SIERRA $10,000 CASH WAS GIVEN AND PAID OFF BUT I WAS SCAMMED BY THE DEALERSHIP. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT I WAS BEING SOLD A GOOD SAFE VEHICLE FOR WORK AND MY FAMILIES NEEDS ARE ALSO A PRIORITY. I NEVER TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE TILL I DROVE HOME AFTER PURCHASING IT. NOT EVEN 4 MINS ON THE ROAD AND I NOTICED THE ABS LIGHT CAME ON THE DASHBOARD WITH THE BRAKE LIGHT AND THE FRONT BRAKES BEGAN TO SMOKE. I CONTACTED THE DEALSHIP BUT WAS DISREGARDED AND NOT OFFERED AN EXCHANGE OR ANY TYPE OF SOLUTION FOR MY PROBLEM I EVEN EXPLAINED MY JOB REQUIRED ME TO USE MY VEHICLE FOR TRANSPORTING MATERIAL FOR WORK AND SINCE I WAS IN CHARGE OF 4 PEOPLE THAT WOUL BE REQUIREING SKILLS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MAKING SURE ALL CUSTOMERS WERE SATISFIED. PACIFI NORTHWEST MOTORSPORTS TOOK ADVANTAGE OF MY IMPARIMENT I FEELSCAMMED AND I WANT TO HAVE MY MONEY BACK OR AT LEAST EXCHANGE FOR THE VALUE OF $10,000. I WAS NEVER OFFERED ANY TYPE OF SLOUTION FROM THE BUSSINESS THE OWNER LAUGHED AT ME AND SAID THAT IT SUCKED TO BE ME AND HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. THE BUSSINNESS OWNER LIED TO THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE ABOUT OFFEREING ME A REMEDY THE ONLY REMEDY I WOULD CONSIDER IS MY MONEY BACK AND AN EXCHANGE FOR MY TROUBLES I feel that this is a vehicle manufacturer malfuncunctiom. I'm still having the sa,e problem with my brakes .. please help I have tried repairing the problem, numerous times to be unsuccessful .
MY VEHICLE WAS TOTALED AND I SEE THEIR IS A RECALL FOR THE PITMAN ARM THAT CAN CAUSE TOTAL LOSS IF STEERING AND THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME

THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE DRIVER WAS INJURED, BUT DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A WRECKING YARD. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 154,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 GMC SIERRA 3500. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, THE POWER STEERING FLUID LEAKED INTO THE BRAKING SYSTEM AND CAUSED THE BRAKES TO SEIZE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AND ALL OF THE HOSES AFFECTED BY THE BRAKE FLUID WERE REPLACED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THIS WAS THE THIRD TIME THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED FOR THE SAME FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 161,108.

THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE RACK AND PINION WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED INTO PLACE. I HAD TO JERK IT HARD IN ORDER TO GET IT TO RELEASED FROM THE LOCKED POSITION. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE ALREADY. CAN EASILY CAUSE A CRASH. NEEDS TO BE FIXED BY MANUFACTURER. *TR
WHILE BRAKING AT LOW SPEEDS AND COMING TO A FULL STOP, TRUCK LURCHES FORWARD AND BRAKE PEDAL GOES DOWN 1/8 OF AN INCH. DRIVER MUST USE MORE BRAKE TO STOP TRUCK ( THIS IS WITH NO LOAD IN TRUCK AT ALL, ONLY PASSENGER ). ALSO WHILE STOPPED AND TURNING THE WHEEL LEFT OR RIGHT TO PARK, STEERING WHEEL LOOSES POWER STEERING UNTIL BRAKE IS RELEASED AND TRUCK STARTS ROLLING. HAD TRUCK LOOKED AT TWICE BEFORE AT DEALER FOR SAME PROBLEM ( ONCE AT 32,000 AND AGAIN AT 35,000 ) AND WAS TOLD, AS LONG AS NO HARD CODES OR FAILURES ARE FOUND, THEY WERE UNABLE TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE. *JB
I WAS BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY (DOWN HILL SLOPE) AND LOST POWER STEERING AND BRAKING IN MY 2006 GMC 2500HD DIESEL TRUCK. I PUT THE TRANSMISSION IN NEUTRAL AND DEPLOYED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO STOP. THE MECHANIC DETERMINED THE POWER STEERING PUMP HAD FAILED AND THIS RESULTED IN THE HYDRO BOOST FAILURE WITH SUBSEQUENT BRAKE LOSS. AFTER REPLACING THE POWER STEERING PUMP THE POWER STEERING LINES SPLIT TWO WEEKS LATER. *TR
ON MARCH 8,2010 I TOOK MY CAR THAT I BOUGHT 2 YEARS AGO TO AN OFFICIAL EMISSIONS INSPECTION STATION; THE VEHICLE FAILED. AT THIS TIME I WAS GIVEN A SET OF RECALL PAPERS 09014 SPECIAL COVERAGE ADJUSTMENT ENGINE CONTROL MODULE- EMISSION RELATED REPROGRAMMING THAT EXPLAINED WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. IN THE MEAN TIME I TOOK THE CAR TO GM . THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD COST $125 TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM BY THE TIME THEY WERE DONE I HAD A BILL FOR $280 AND TOLD IT WOULD COST OVER $1000TO FIX THE CAR SO THAT COULD PASS (THEY NEED TO REPLACE THE STEERING COLUMN TO RECEIVE COMMUNICATION I SEE THERE IS A RECALL ON THAT) I WANT TO STATE THAT I SHOWED THE WORKERS AT GM THE PAPERS SHOWING WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS BUT I WAS TOLD THAT WAS NOT THE PROBLEM AND THEY THEN TOLD ME IF I WANT IT FIXED I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT.THIS OCCURRED AFTER I SIGNED A PAPER ALLOWING THEM TO "LOOK" AT THE CAR . I NEED SOMEONE IN AUTHORITY TO HELP ME FIND OUT THIS PROBLEM SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF BY GM AND WHETHER OR NOT THE ACTION OF GM WAS FRAUDULENT. TRUCK WAS PARKED IN GARAGE ON A FRIDAY NIGHT, WITH NO PROBLEMS. STARTED TRUCK SATURDAY AM TO BACK OUT OF THE GARAGE TO HOOK UP A TRAILER. I PUT THE TRUCK IN REVERSE, THEN DISCOVERED IT WOULDN'T STEER AND IT WOULDN'T STOP. NEARLY TOOK OUT THE SIDE OF THE GARAGE DOOR WITH THE MIRROR, NOT TO MENTION, NEARLY RUNNING OVER ONE OF MY KIDS! I HAD TO ENGAGE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE IN ORDER TO GET THE VEHICLE TO STOP - HALF IN AND HALF OUT OF THE GARAGE. I SHUT THE TRUCK OFF AND RESTARTED IT, BUT NOTHING CHANGED. CALLED A FLATBED TRUCK TO TAKE THE TRUCK TO THE DEALERSHIP. POWER STEERING PUMP HAD FAILED AND THEY REPLACED IT. I'M VERY LUCKY THAT I WASN'T PULLING THE TRAILER WHEN THIS HAPPENED, AS I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED, OR KILLED SOMEONE ELSE. VERY SCARY SITUATION. THERE HAD BEEN NO TROUBLE WITH THE BRAKES OR STEERING LEADING UP TO THIS INCIDENT - IT WAS JUST BOOM - IT HAPPENED. I PURCHASED THIS DIESEL TRUCK NEW, AND HAVE HAD THE DEALERSHIP DO ALL SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE. IT HAS NEVER BEEN INVOLVED IN ANY ACCIDENT, AND IT IS KEPT INSIDE A GARAGE WHEN NOT IN USE. *TR
2006 GMC SIERRA 1500 PICKUP TRUCK. FRONT WHEEL BEARING ASSEMBLY ON BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE FAILURE. THE WHEEL BEARING HUB ASSEMBLY FAILURE CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO LOOSE DRIVING ABILITY WHILE DRIVING. THE WHEELS WILL START SHAKING CAUSING OPERATING THE VEHICLE IMPOSSIBLE. GMC HAS A PROBLEM WITH FRONT WHEEL BEARING ASSEMBLIES ON THEIR PICKUP TRUCKS. REPLACED HUB ASSEMBLY WITH NEW PARTS BY A GM CERTIFIED MECHANIC. GM MECHANIC STATED THAT THEY HAVE REPLACED MANY GMC AND CHEVY HUB ASSEMBLIES ON TRUCKS DUE TO PART FAILURE. *TR
CLUNKING SOUND FROM STEERING SHAFT IN COLUMN, CLUNKING BUMPING LOOSENESS IN STEERING HYDRAULIC SLAVE CYLINDER AT ALL SPEEDS. THIS SEEMS TO CAUSE THE TRUCK TO WANDER AT HIGHWAY SPEED, SYMPTOMS ARE WORSE WHEN HIGH WINDS ARE ENCOUNTERED. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 GMC SIERRA 2500. THE FLY WHEEL, WHICH RUNS WITH THE TRANSMISSION AND HELPS CHANGE GEARS HAS HAD TO BE REPLACED THREE TIMES WITHIN TWO YEARS. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH DURING THE FIRST FAILURE, THERE WAS A LOUD CLICKING NOISE AND IT BECAME LOUDER OVER TIME. THE DEALER STATED THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATING NORMALLY. A FEW WEEKS LATER, THE NOISE WAS MUCH LOUDER; HOWEVER, A DIFFERENT DEALER 2 HOURS AWAY DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE AND STATED THAT THE FLY WHEEL FAILED. AFTER BEING REPAIRED 24,000 MILES AND A YEAR LATER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE FLY WHEEL WAS REPLACED AGAIN AND LASTED 5 MONTHS BEFORE IT FAILED. THE POWER STEERING SHAFT ALSO NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO IT BEING WORN OUT AND FAILED AGAIN NINE MONTHS LATER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 22,800 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 55,000. UPDATED 06/08/09 *BF THE POWER STEERING GEAR WAS LEAKING DUE TO LEAKING GEAR ASSEMBLY, THE HVAC BLOWER WAS INOPERATIVE, THE FLYWHEEL WAS CRACKED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A SERVICE DEALER ON THREE OCCASION, WHERE THEY WERE UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT WITHOUT A RECALL THEY ARE UNABLE TO REPAIR IT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 650 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 3745.
