Airbag light continuously flashes, I read that there were recalls with Nissan/Infiniti airbags and my model and year was included so I took it to the dealer to have it checked. Infiniti of Lynnwood can't find the problem, they said all the sensors were fine and diagnosed it as; "98820-3JA9B - Sensor-Side Airbag center. Airbag diagnosis sensor to start, this is the first step, will have to test further if not corrected after replacement". The service dealer said that it's the first step to figure out what's wrong, the quote was $2,120.96, he said it might fix it and can be a money pit. My concern is that my car might have been missed in the airbag recall.
The vehicle components OCS MODULES and Sensors are failed. They have been inspected by Bob Moore Dealer in OKC, OK and with their repair shop currently waiting for Recall Approval. There is a warning signal on dash board of Airbag displaying off when a passenger is sitting on front passenger side. It does not sensor anyone in seat. Their are several campaigns out on JX35 but say it has expired. However, the campaigns described my current Safety issue I'm having with my JX35 2013 Vehicle. They dealer need a current approval/ Campaign to cover my repair cost of$785.24
Supplemental restraint system side control module has failed. I have got it checked to find out that this part is notorious for failing. It makes it so the airbags will not work in an accident. My airbag light was blinking and I took it in to get repaired only to find that the restraint system is broke and is NOT easy or cheap to fix. I feel like since the airbags not working is a huge safety issue I feel as if there should be something done about this
The vehicle was being driven on the freeway. I was driving in the carpool lane with a passenger going around 75-80mph. The road was a smooth paved road, there wasn't anything on the road for my car to hit or run over. Then all of a sudden the driver-side airbag curtain deployed, and my seatbelt tightened and locked up in place. This frightened me and left me unable to drive correctly and endangered both my passenger's and my life. I had to immediately pull off to an exit and I concluded that the driver-side airbags deployed spontaneously and this put my life in danger and others driving on the freeway. So the driver-side side airbags malfunctioned and are available for inspection. The safety of others was put at risk by having the airbags deployed while driving on the freeway at a fairly high speed. The component has not been inspected or replaced by the manufacturer or any other entity. There was a passenger seatbelt warning light lit up prior to the incident, but it was for the passenger airbags and its meaning is that the passenger airbags would not deploy in the case of a vehicle accident/collision.
Airbag light just came on out of nowhere. Took to dealership and they stated they needed to replace the whole system. Calling it an airbag control unit internal failure. States it’s 2300 to fix. Makes no sense why it went out. I’m driving on it until the airbag recall is finished.

AIR BAGS: OCCUPANT SENSOR
PASSENGER AIR BAG SENSOR REMAINS ILLUMINATED WITH OR WITH OUT A PASSENGER IN THE PASSENGER SIDE SEAT. BAD SENSOR WITH THAT MAKE MODEL AND YEAR. THE SENSOR TURNED ON VERY SOON AFTER PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE FROM DRIVERS MART.
I RECEIVED RECALL LETTER BUT LOST IT
2ND PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON. NO FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG PROTECTION. HAD A RECALL R1606 DONE, BUT TROUBLE CAME RIGHT BACK. APPEARS THERE IS ANOTHER RECALL PC217 FOR MORE EXTENSIVE REPAIRS BUT INFINITI SAYS MY VIN NOT INCLUDED. IT SURE APPEARS IT SHOULD BE INCLUDED, EXACT TROUBLES. THIS APPEARS TO BE A HUGE NISSAN ISSUE.
PASSENGER AIR BAG SENSOR - INDICATING OFF WITH ADULT IN SEAT. I SEARCHED ANY RECALL ON THE VIN OON "HTTPS://VINRCL.SAFERCAR.GOV/VIN/"TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY RECALL, BUT 0 RECALLS.
