I HAD BARELY HIT A CURB PULLING INTO THE BANK PARKING WHEN MY BRAKE PAD WOULDN'T STOP. AT LESS THAN 7MPH. MY AIR BAGS HAD DEPLOYED LEAVING ME JARRED, AND IN A SHOCK I COULD NOT MOVE. I SAT LOCKED IN TO MY SAFETYBELT UNTIL THE CONSTRUCTION WORKER DOWN ROADPULLED ME OUT TO SAFETY. SUCH A MILS HIT. BLEW MY AIRBAGS.. IN RETURN, DAMAGED MY WINDSHIELD, DASH, AND, STEERING COLUMN. I WAS TURNING INTO A BANK PARKING LOT. CONSIDERED A PRIVATE LOT.

THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE NECK, BACK, AND BOTH LEGS. THE FRONT PASSENGER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE NECK AND BOTH LEGS. THE REAR PASSENGER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE BACK AND BOTH LEGS. THE REAR PASSENGER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE BACK AND NECK. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS REQUIRED FOR THREE OCCUPANTS. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V400000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE CONTACT BELIEVED THE CRASHED WAS RELATED TO THE RECALL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.

THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 128,000.
SON WAS DRIVING CAR AND HIT ANOTHER CAR HEAD ON. HE RECEIVED CONCUSSION AND BROKEN FOOT. HE IS NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED TO CAUSE HIM TO GO LEFT OF CENTER, AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND CAR WAS TOTALED. MY CAR HAD OVER $5800 DAMAGE TO THE FRONT END YET THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY.
MY BROTHER WAS INVOLVED IN A VERY SERIOUS CAR ACCIDENT WITH MY CAR IN WHICH HE HIT ONE SIDE OF THE WALL AND THEN BOUNCED OFF AND HIT ANOTHER SIDE OF THE WALL ALL WITH THE AIRBAGS NOT DEPLOYING. THE CAR DAMAGE MAKES THE CAR APPEAR AS IF THERE WAS NO AIRBAG IN THE CAR BECAUSE THE WHOLE FRONT DASH WAS MOVED AND ON THE PASSENGER SIDE THERE IS A DENT IN THE DASH, APPEARING LIKE THERE WAS NO AIRBAG IN THE CAR. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH GM REGARDING THE ISSUE HOWEVER THEY HAVE NOT BEEN HELPFUL AND WILL NOT PROVIDE ME ADEQUATE INFORMATION. *TR

PURCHASED VEH IN O6, AS SOON AS I DROVE IT OFF THE LOT THE AIRBAG WARNING LITE CAME ON. CALLED DEALER THEY AGREED TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT, PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT I ALSO NOTICED THE HORN DIDN'T WORK. CAR IS SENT TO DEALER TO BE LOOKED AT THEY SAID THAT THE LF AIRBAG SENSOR WAS BAD. THEY REPLACED IT AND CLAIMED TO HAVE FIXED THE HORN AS WELL. THE HORN STILL DON'T WORK THE STRIKE POSITION SEEMS TO MOVE AROUND AND ONLY WORKS ONCE AND A WHILE. AND NOW ONLY 2 MONTHS AFTER REPLACEING THE SENSOR THE LITE IS BACK ON. TOOK IT BACK AND THEY HAVE NO CLUE AS TO WHY.
DT: THE CONTACT COMPLAINED ABOUT A FAILURE OF THE MIDDLE REAR SEAT BELT. WHILE LOCKING THE BRAKES BEFORE STRIKING ANOTHER VEHICLE THE REAR MIDDLE SEAT BELT DID NOT LOCK THE REAR FACING CAR SEAT IN PLACE. ON THE POINT OF IMPACT, INSTEAD OF LOCKING THE SEAT BELT, IT RELEASED TOO MUCH WEBBING, AND THE CAR SEAT OVERTURNED. THE CAR SEAT FLIPPED UPSIDE DOWN WITH THE CHILD IN IT. THE SEAT BELT REMAINED BUCKLED. ALTHOUGH THEY WERE INVOLVED IN A CRASH THE VEHICLE SUSTAINED MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE FRONT HEADLIGHT AND BUMPER. THERE WERE NO PRIOR PROBLEMS WITH THE SEAT BELTS. A POLICE REPORT WAS TAKEN AT THE SCENE.*AK
