Odometer Fraud. The contact previously owned a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The contact stated that a friend was doing research on Facebook Market and discovered that the contact's former vehicle was listed on the website. The contact then discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was sold through a private sale. Upon original sale of the vehicle, the mileage was approximately 330,000 and at the time of searching the vehicle on Facebook Market, the mileage was 123,456.
Vehicle regularly stalls while driving, going down hills and any random time at highway speeds, while in traffic, while stopped at traffic controls. This problem happens repeatedly and is apparently related to the “pump mounted driver”, which is prone to failure due to inadequate design for the use and environment. It creates random failures Of the pump to deliver fuel.

FATAL COLLISION OCCURRED ON 8/20/15 ON SR 126E IN LANE COUNTY, OREGON. VEHICLE DRIFTED OFF ROADWAY AND SUSTAINED FRONTAL IMPACT WITH LARGE TREE RESULTING IN ENGINE FIRE. THIS IS THE THIRD OF THREE CHEV SILVERADOS THAT HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN FRONTAL IMPACTS THIS YEAR THAT HAS RESULTED IN A FIRE

LATER SAME DAY ENGINE SHUT OFF IN PARKING LOT, BUT I WAS ABLE TO IMMEDIATELY RESTART IT. THE NEXT DAY ENGINE DID THE SAME THING (SHUT OFF) BUT AGAIN, I WAS ABLE TO IMMEDIATELY RESTART IT. *TR
MY CAR HAS ONLY 50,400 MILES-ITS A 2009, YESTERDAY WHILE DRIVING I FELT A JOLTING IN THE REAR END OF THE TRUCK AND IT CONTINUED EACH TIME I STOPPED AND STARTED DRIVING AGAIN. I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC WHO INFORMED ME IT WAS A TRANSMISSION SHIFTING PROBLEM. WHILE DRIVING ONE DAY, I NOTICED THE TOW/HAUL BUTTON DIDN'T WORK, THEN THE GAS GAUGE. EVENTUALLY, WITHIN A YEAR, ALL THE GAUGES STOPPED WORKING. SOMETIMES THEY GO ON AND LATER OFF AGAIN. I DON'T KNOW IF THEY ARE EVEN ACCURATE TO ANY DEGREE WHEN THEY DO COME ON. ABOUT A YEAR AGO THE TRUCK SHUT OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING BUT AFTER I WAS SAFELY OFF THE ROAD IT STARTED AGAIN. THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED SINCE. I HAVE TRIED TO FIND THE PROBLEM BUT AS OF NOW I HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL. MYSELF OR MY MECHANIC, WHO WORKS FOR THE COUNTY AND IS VERY CAPABLE. I KNOW MANY PEOPLE WITH THE SAME OR SIMILAR VEHICLES AND THIS SEEMS TO BE QUITE COMMON. I ALSO OWN A 2003 SUBURBAN AND THESE THINGS ARE STARTING WITH THAT TRUCK TOO. THESE HAVE BEEN GOOD TRUCKS BUT I WANT TO BE SAFE AND NOT HAVE TO GET RID OF MY VEHICLES. ABS,WIPERS,DEFROST,HVAC, AND ALL GAUGES ARE AFFECTED. I HAVE REPLACED HVAC CONTROLS AND DASH GAUGES AND OTHER PARTS BUT STILL THE SAME PROBLEMS. SUCH AS WHATEVER HVAC CONTROLS THAT I PUT IN IT STILL ONLY WORKS ON HIGH. MY TRUCK HAS A TOW/HAUL FEATURE WHERE YOU PUSH A BUTTON TO TURN THE FEATURE ON AND OFF. I BOUGHT A TRAVEL TRAILER, I PUSHED THE BUTTON AND IT DIDN'T COME ON. I RESEARCHED THE PROBLEM AND FOUND MANY OTHER COMPLAINTS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I FOUND OUT THAT THERE IS A ORANGE WIRE IN THE STEERING COLUMN THAT TEARS. EVERY PERSON THAT I SAW WITH THE PROBLEM HAD THAT ORANGE WIRE BROKEN, I OPENED UP MY STEERING COLUMN AND SURE ENOUGH THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. THERE IS A BRACE WHERE THE WIRE FITS IN. THE BRACE HAD CUT THE WIRE. I TRIED TO FIX IT BUT THE WIRE IS SO SMALL I COULDN'T. *TR

I HAVE A 2000 MALIBU AND IT HAS 129K MILES ON IT. THE ANTI-THEFT LIGHT HAS BEEN ON FOR MONTHS AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE REASON FOR THIS WAS, BUT IT NEVER SEEMED TO AFFECT MY CAR IN ANY WAY. TODAY THE CAR TURNED ON FINE TWICE, ONCE COMING OUT OF THE HOUSE AND THE SECOND TIME COMING OUT OF THE GAS STATION. WHEN I TRY TO TURN IT ON AFTER LEAVING FROM A JOB INTERVIEW, IT CRANKS AS IF IT WANTS TO TURN ON BUT DOESN'T. IT SOUNDS LIKE IF THE GAS TANK IS ON EMPTY BUT IT'S ALMOST FULL. I CHECKED ALL CONNECTIONS AND EVEN TRIED A JUMP START AND IT DIDN'T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE. OUR CHEVY SILVERADO TRUCK, 2000 MAKE OF YEAR, HAS IGNITION ISSUES. IT IS HARD TO GET THE KEY TO TURN IN THE IGNITION, REQUIRING US TO EITHER JIGGLE THE IGNITION PLATE OR TURN THE KEY TO THE OTHER SIDE AND INSERT IT THAT WAY.
