rear hatch window exploded while the car was not moving for no apparent reason lucky no one was in the rear seats or standing in back of the vehicle at the time otherwise the flying glass would have been an issue. And if I had been driving the noise and distraction of the breaking glass could have been an issue as well. No ins or police inspections took place. No lamps or messages or symptoms of any kind presented prior to the glass failure.

WHEN I START MY CAR THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS COME ON EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE IN THE OFF POSITION. SOMETIMES ITS INTERMITTENT, SOMETIME THEY RUN FOR AS LONG AS I AM DRIVING. I HAVE CHECKED COMPLAINTS ON THIS GOING BACK TO 2013.
AFTER TAKING CAR IN FOR RECALL FOR HEADLAMP DRIVER MODULE THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS COME ON WHEN THE CAR IS TURNED ON EVEN THOUGH THE SWITCH IS IN THE OFF POSITION. THEY WILL NOT GO OFF UNTIL THE CAR IS TURNED OFF.

VEHICLE WIPERS STARTING TURNING ON WHEN WIPERS WERE SET TO OFF. THIS PROBLEM HAS PROGRESSIVELY GOTTEN WORSE . IT STARTED AS ONLY INTERMITTENTLY AND OCCASIONALLY HAVING THE WIPERS TURN ON FOR A COUPLE SWIPES AND THEN SHUTTING OFF. NOW THEY (THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS) START SWIPING WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STARTED AND YOU CAN HEAR THE WINDSHIELD WASHER PUMP RUNNING, THE WIPERS WILL RUN UNTIL I TURN THE VEHICLE OFF. AT TIMES THIS IS FOR 30 MINUTES OR LONGER. *TR

2006 GMC ENVOY. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO REIMBURSEMENT FOR FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH MODULE REPLACEMENT. *SMD ACCORDING TO THE INVOICE, THE POWER WINDOW SWITCH WAS DEFECTIVE DUE TO CORROSION CAUSED BY WATER OR RAIN THAT LEAKED INTO THE MAIN CIRCUIT BOARD WINDOW SWITCH MODULE.

THERE WAS A VOLUNTARY RECALL ISSUED BY THE MANUFACTURER FOR THE 2006 SIERRA 1500 VEHICLE PERTAINING TO THE FAULTY RELAY RESISTOR MODULE AND WIRE CONNECTOR BUT NOT FOR THE ENVOY. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
BEGINNING ON 08-20-2011 MY 2006 ENVOY BEGAN TURNING ON AND OFF ITS WIPERS AND SPRAYING WINDSHIELD WASHING FLUID EVERYWHERE. IT NOW DOES THIS REGULARLY EVERYDAY IT IS DRIVEN. FRONT WINDSHIELD WASHER NOZZLE FAILURE, BOTH (LEFT AND RIGHT). 1ST EVENT NOTED IN 2009 WHEN VEHICLE HAD 32000 MILES, THIS IS THE 2ND EVENT. NOZZLES STOP SPRAYING WASHING FLUID EFFECTIVELY, PREVENTING DRIVER FROM CLEANING THE FRONT WINDSHIELD IN HIGH DEBRIS CONDITIONS, REDUCING VISIBILITY AND POSING A DRIVING HAZARD SPECIALLY IN HIGH DEBRIS / INSECT AREAS IN NON-OPTIMAL LIGHTING CONDITIONS SUCH AS NIGHTTIME DRIVING OR WHEN THE VEHICLE IS ALIGNED TOWARDS THE SUN OR OTHER LIGHT SOURCE.
